I believe my Windows Live Mail is defaulted to C Drive and all data are stored in C Drive.

i am currently running short of space and will like to move all my data for Windows Live Mail to D drive. Whats the proper way to do this without losing data and not losing my last read pointer? I have a few email accounts managed by Windows Live Mail.

Thanks in advance!

I use hotmail on IPad and we have BigPond on desktop. Just recently I am unable to send emails from IPad but can still receive. I have turned off and on. Also did a reset. Nothing changes...still get an error saying unable to send or message rejected by server etc. What's next??

Sometimes a message goes to outbox folder, instead sent  folder.  I have checked the address and is fine, and send it by another account, is sent ok,.

This issue stops my entire email account to stop working, it disconnect it,  until I get rid of it of the email , the same email is sent by another email account and is fine.

why does this happen?

and how to avoid it.?

I am running Windows Live Mail 2012 and received an email from Outlook requiring me to install the latest update   to continue using Windows Live Mail 2012.

The update was applied and Windows Live Mail 2012 is working, though rather more lumpy than previously and taking longer to check mail.  On  my pre update configuration I had Read Post,  Sub folders  with a a second level sub folder named with various subjects.  This has helped me manage a complex building project with several false starts.  Anyhow this file system has worked well for me.

The problem is that this second level of sub folders is now lost and all these emails are now all merged, I don't think think I have lost any email's, but if you can't access them quickly they are effectively lost.  Does anybody know of any way of getting my previous read email file structure back.  I have tried playing with various view and filter settings but to no avail ?

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm using WLMM version 2011, Build 15.4.3555.0308  in Windows 7, version 6.1 and all codecs and video card/drivers are up to date. I still have a nagging problem after creating a simple but lengthy (around 40mins long) slide show using regular jpg files and some mp3s sequenced back to back for the audio. The video plays fine when played in short sections within Windows Movie Maker. However, both in WLMM and on the exported mp4 file of the completed project, the audio and video starts getting out of sync as the video goes on- which is a problem since the timing is specific and needs to be very synchronized.  If I pause and resume playing the project within WMM, the video and audio sync up at the pause point but then slowly get out of sync again. In short, the sync is fine when previewed in short segments but played as a whole, gets off towards the end of every song.  So it seems fine when editing and replaying small bits of the project, but then the full video or project when played through does not match my edits. I thought that maybe it was just viewing them in WLMM, so I published the project and watched it in WLMP and as an mp4 in other media players and it was out of sync. I'm not even trying to do anything technically fancy with this video. I'm working with basic mp3 and jpg files. I can't imagine this is an uncommon problem. Any ideas or fixes out there in the community? I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this project (a graduation gift/slideshow presentation) so I'm hoping to actually share the project without any awkward glitches. Any help and solutions would really be appreciated.

thanks,

a distraught dad

WLM worked fine for awhile then I could receive mail but couldn't send mail. Now I can't do either. I get this message: 'Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include, Server Problems, Network Problems or a long period of inactivity. Windows Live Mail Error: ID0x800CCC of OF. Protocol: SMTP. Port: 465. Secure (SSL): No

We have two more computers that are working fine on the same server so I don't think it's a server problem. I know it isn't a connection problem because I can go to different websites.
