Windows Live Mail FAQ
I'm receiving the same message as many others and after reading the comments on this site even more confused. Is it not possible for Microsoft to provide the current status, and when the problem is solved, send another email with a fix that works? I certainly do not want Hotmail out of use.

I installed the recommended update to the live program. However windows live is not receiving my live.com mail in windows 8.1 - I am having the same problem with the windows mail program. It does read and send my google email.
I am using live version
Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3564.1216)

I have windows live mail, and had my mail transferred from my verizon account, all of a sudden it is not working and I cannot receive mail in windows live mail, please help. maria bauer

I have recently upgraded to windows 10, all was fine for a few weeks, but now Windows Live Mail 2011 fails to open, I have been told that WLM 2011 is no longer available on windows 10. If this is correct how do I find all my E- Mails and contacts that are still in WLM2011.

I have upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 on my tower. Windows 7 still operates my laptop. I have 2 e-mail accounts Hotmail and tiscali. On the tower i'm unable to sync the tiscali e-mail account (Hotmail is fine), where as on the laptop both work fine. So in short I'm unable to receive any tiscali e-mails.
Any ideas?
