Question about Outlook Express

Hi there, in need of some assistance,

I was in the middle of editing a movie. I had already edited a substantial portion of it. Then suddenly, as I clicked 'split' on one arbitrary clip, the clip disappeared. As I moved my cursor over the other clips, they too disappeared. The whole project froze and I could no longer work on any of it. Luckily it was saved. I have tried reopening it several times, all to no avail.

Please help!

UPDATE: On closer inspection, it appears that the program only crashes when I attempt to trim this one clip. Oddly enough it's an already split clip that I had carved up several times before.

In an elevated command prompt enter

msiexec /package {B775C26B-EAA8-4A11-ACBF-76E52DF6B805} /uninstall {342DCD5D-5946-453B-97AC-D53B7662EDF5}

This is not "the fix". This is only how to uninstall the patch.

Personally I had to do this then delete and re add my Hotmail accounts.

 I honestly believe this "problem" was created intentionally. MS will stop at nothing in it's attempt to catch up to google in data collection :(
