Question about Outlook Express

Original title: Windows 10 with Windows Live Mail

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 (I wish I never had done that!).  Anyways, I currently use Windows Live Mail 2012.  However, I have a lot of email folders stored in a file called MAIL.MSMESSAGE STORE and I cannot open that file nor can I sync them to show up under Windows Live Mail 2012.  I had a lot of folders too!  The file size is about 20MB.  How can I view these folders under Windows Live Mail 2012?  I already tried FILE, IMPORT MESSAGES, WINDOWS LIVE MAIL....however, the MAIL.MSMESSAGESTORE filename does NOT show up when I click on the BROWSE button.  Can ANYONE help me resolve this problem?  Many thanks!  :)

Hi, I'm getting the following error every time I open my emails, I am unable to send or recieve emails and the following error appears:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Talktalk (kevjackcliffe) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

I have tried a few suggestions on numerous suggestions for this error ID however none have worked.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

When we use the Emoticon that are in Windows Live Mail, the problem is if you at add a apostrophe (it's) followed Emoticon it turns to some greek letter.
