Now, I don't want to fade in or out from black or white.  What I'm trying to do is fade in or somehow cross-fade from two video clips. So, I don't know what terminology it is but basically that's what I'm trying to do. Fade out from one clip to another clip, understand? Thanks in advance.

Somehow deleted the whole Deleted Items folder from Windows Live Mail.  Thus, deleted mail disappearing entirely.  Tried creating a new "Deleted Items" folder.  This didn't work either.

Finally, discovered the following to restore it:

Under "Tools",  select  "IMAP folders".   Then select "Reset List"  (far right hand side).  Then click "OK".

That's it.  The folder instantly reappeared and is in working order!

Hope this can help someone with the same problem.

Why do I get the following message when I first open Windows Live Mail and how can I fix it:

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.

I can see I have the same issue as other people her, but I cannot see a solution.

I uninstalled WLM and reinstalled it for WLM kept with debugging and closing. I have three email accounts linked to WLM: Gmail, Live, and Hotmail but only Live and Hotmail have issues. I get following for both accounts:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxx) account.

Server Error: 4102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00001

Server Error: 4102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'

I hope you can help med with this, thank you

Current setup:

01) Windows Live Mail
Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3564.1216)
Copyright © 2012 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Microsoft® Office 2010 Proofing Tools
© 2010 Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

02) Windows 7 Starter (c) 2009 / Service Pack 1

03) Hotmail account

I have been using this setup for years and in mid-January-2016 it just stopped syncing.  I use three other accounts and only Hotmail does not sync.

I have deleted the account and re-installed it with no effect.  It's not a POP account, so the files remain on the Hotmail server.  The other three accounts are POP accounts.

Q1) Can you give me some suggestions what to try next?

Q2) On the off chance it's a Hotmail volume on server issue, what is the max?

Q3) If I need to install Hotmail as a POP account,  what servers should  I use?

Thank  you,

Casey
