Windows Live Mail FAQ
I have a Movie Maker file, which has no video (just a black jpg for 10 minutes) as I am only interested in the audio.
I want to send it to a friend.
So I do File > Save As > Audio Only
I have the choice of wav and m4a. I've tried both.
Both options produce a file which has breaks in the sound missing bits of sentences.
Any thoughts on whether this is a bug, or what I could try to rectify would be appreciated.
This occurs with all files.

I belong to a "yahoogroup". I receive about 100 messages every day from the group. Within the past few weeks, 1-5 messages each day come to Windows Live in the wrong format.
1. No "From"
2. No "Subject"
3. the message itself is garbled coding.
I contacted the yahoogroup moderator and he replied that there is nothing wrong with my account. I checked my email on my ISP server (cox.net) and all of the yahoogroup messages are completely correct there. This means that Windows Live is the cause of the problem.

I have several eml files (saved emails) saved in W7. I have now installed W10 which doesn't seem to recognise these file. I have Windows Live Mail installed (but not Outlook). I tried right clicking on the file and choosing a program to open it with, but the list does not include any mail program and if you choose find another program it merely opens the file explorer programs folder. If you then click on Windows Live/Mail nothing happens. I tried selecting the file extension eml form the list of apps assigned to file extensions and W10 appears to think an eml file is a PDF (indeed the icon displayed for the file is a PDF icon) and was disinclined to let me change this to Windows Live Mail (or anything else for that matter).
Is there any way to fix this.
I am using Windows 10 and Gmail. I recently refreshed my computer. When I reinstalled Windows Live Mail 2012, I cannot download the folders or send an email. My settings are correct in my account on the web and also the mail settings on my computer. I have tried every suggestion in the forum and cannot get it to work. Error message "Lookup failed r65mb69546349qke". I really want my WLM back! MS Mail is the pits.
