I have hotmail accounts (outlook.com, live.co.uk and hotmail.co.uk) and can no longer send or receive emails on my desktop. This is the message I get;

Developed Slide Show last month using movie maker. Opened up movie maker and 7 pictures missing from slide show.
Used the fix icon and said it could not locate the picture. The picture number is the same as it is in picture album.
This the the third time on a slide show that this has happen. Need direction.
I am running Windows Live Mail with Windows 8.1. I have made no recent changes to my email setup. (Though there are those infuriating automatic updates which reliably break something.) Beginning a week ago, emails to my IMAP account could not be seen in my Live Mail inbox. The number of unread emails indicates that I have received a new message, but when I click on the inbox, the last message displayed is five days old. (I can see the new messages on my phone.) I have tried searching the inbox for the missing messages and they are not found.
My work requires me to save my emails, so I cannot do anything (like uninstalling) that might delete them. (The last time I tried to export to backup, it did not work and I lost all of my emails. I am not willing to rely on that again.)
I have already "repaired" Windows Essentials. It did not work.
what is the best way to familiarize myself with windows 10?

Photo Gallery won't print. I get multiple (5) identical error messages each time I try to print that say "Your pictures can't be printed because this error occurred: " there is no further explanation, just an "OK" box.
