Windows Live Mail has recently been giving the following warning everytime we connect to get e-mail.
"Windows Live Mail has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
The programme does still work but why has this started happening. Is it to do with a Windows Update?
I open my mail this morning and no longer do I have the nice large menu at the top with the nice big delete button that I can start deleting mail with. I can get that menu to pop up by clicking on home but as soon as I delete the first mail the other menu comes back. And the menu is wider now so Im only seeing half of the top email. I also see words at the bottom of the menu that were not there before and that must be why it is wider. Words like New Delete Respond Action and Tools. Why did they change this? It does not work as well. Try to wake up to 500 emails and then try to start deleting them. It's impossible. Im frustrated.
OP - Did Windows Live Mail Do An Update?
Running windows 10 on laptop. WLM stopped working and lost all contacts in email. Changed password and all worked for two days and then this error stuff again. Same password and no help. Checked all account and server info. Nothing changed. No new emails and nothing works.

Can anyone advise how to fix this error in Windows Live program? Email can easily be accessed through the web. Manually setting up POP3 and IMAP have not produced successful results.

Hi, I'm trying to re-download Windows Movie Maker 12 on my Windows 10 laptop. But after I have reset my laptop, because I had a virus, It's not letting me download it. I seem to remember having the same problem downloading it before but I don't know how I got it in the end.
Okay, so it comes up with like a warning message saying 'Please Restart your computer and try installing again' I have done that a few times but it still wont download.
Is there anything anyone knows that will help me?

Previous answers say to go to the "view" tab and make sure the "status bar" is checked.
However, I am unable to or do not know how to get to the "view" tab. I do not see any "view" tab at all in my Outlook e-mail inbox or anywhere else I navigate to from there. What is going on?
Please provide precise instructions for every step needed to get to the "view" tab.
