Question about Outlook Express

I have some apparently old .php image files that I can no longer access under Windows 7 Professional.   These images are very important to me and I need a product that will allow me to view and manage them, and save them forward to a current form.  Will this product do that?  Thanks for any help.

Why am I getting hundreds of junk mails daily even after they were placed in "block sender/ sender's domain in the blocked sender list"?

I have never experienced this before till couple weeks go!

If blocking doesn't work by this way, what else can I do?

I'm using DELL PC w/Windows 7 & Live Mail.

There are many dates stored within files in Windows.  For many files there are several dates such as:

date created

date last accessed

date modified

date archived

date acquired

date completed

date last saved

date received

date released

date sent

date visited

date taken

And then there is a date column in Windows File Explorer called simply "Date".  This field in WFE seems to be populated according to what dates are available in a particular file.

It seems that some of these dates are controlled by the OS, and some are related to specific uses of files, such as for media.  I've read that the OS has rules about when it changes some dates, and the earliest allowed entry for some dates.

I've also read that when a file is copied (not moved) by the OS that the date created is changed to the current date and time.  This causes havoc when image files without EXIF date taken information are copied to another computer and then imported into WPG.

I'm describing all this because of the way WPG uses the available dates to display and sort images in the thumbnail view.  I've noticed that sometimes when importing new images into the Library, WPG uses the Date Created from the OS as the Date Taken for display within WPG.  This seems to occur for any JPEG file without an EXIF Date Taken, and for other types of image files without EXIF data.

This is all very confusing when using WPG and relying heavily on the Date Taken to control the searching and viewing of images.  It would be nice to read a short tutorial somewhere that explains how WPG uses file date information to determine which date it will use for the Date Taken data.

Is this information available somewhere?

As I've become more familiar with WPG 2012, I'm learning about the "DATE TAKEN" field as shown in the program's "Tag and Caption" pane in the "Information" section at the bottom of that pane.

It's important to me to know when my work creating metadata for my files is stored in the actual file and not in some auxiliary form elsewhere.  I've noted that most often, when dealing with a JPG file that the date taken is stored in the EXIF area of the JPEG file.  However, WPG 2012 allows one to input a DATE TAKEN for AVI, MP4, BMP, MOV and other files.  However, there is no EXIF for these files.  So, apparently sometimes WPG is storing this metadata in its own proprietary format.  I've also found several JPEG files that were imported from older (1998 - 2003) vintage digital cameras where some sort of date was provided by the camera, but WPG decided to store this information elsewhere and not within the EXIF of the JPEG.

I'd like to know exactly when WPG stores metadata in and EXIF of a JPEG file, and when it stores is elsewhere, and where and in what format it stores it elsewhere.  Is it within its .PD6 file?

My other post about grey thumbnails seems to be related to this date issue.  As I discovered several JPG files with no EXIF date taken information (as revealed by Windows File Explorer), while these JPG files DID have a date taken shown in the WPG program, once I input a date taken in WFE, suddenly the grey thumbnail issue would correct within WPG!  Weird?  Why?  Who's in charge of thumbnails for WPG, the program itself, or WFE and the OS?
