I had an issue opening Outlook earlier and, after a restart, the program will no longer open at all.

It gets as far as "setting up identity" and then the program crashes with no error message. It just quits.

Can anyone tell me what happened and how to fix it?

The recent March update crashed my computer, deleted several of my programs including Windows Live Mail and my contacts.  How do I retrieve my contacts.  I attempted to restore the back up and did not help.  I am not happy that I decided to update to Windows 10.  Is it possible to return to Windows 7?

The agent at Microsoft instructed me to uninstall my Windows Live Essentials. Now my email and contacts are gone. The next agent said that he could not help me reinstall my email.

Please help

Back before I was even a teen, I had an email account that is connected to my old myspace, etc.

I can't remember the password for this account, and when I went into the updated Hotmail account I made for when I was in high school, there are now no longer any received or sent items (there is actually a completely empty email account).

I went into this second old email account because it was set up for me to have all of my emails from the original account forwarded to it. I am currently trying to delete old social media profiles from when I was younger and they are all connected to this very old email.

How do I go about getting back into this old email, because I am almost certain it has had security issues and has been hacked in the past, but it is where all my old social media delete requests are being forwarded to?

Since upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1... My Windows Live Mail produces this message everytime

I try to send out.  I must say yes every time.  It is getting frustrating.

"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified.

The  Certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.

Do you want to continue using this server."

I contacted my provider and they told me it was in the Windows Live Program, that I would have to contact them... Could you please inform me of how to repair this problem.

I have already done the delete and reload.
