Hi, attempting to sort my mothers pc out wit this error. Currently one email is reporting this error message.

Unable to send or receive messages for the mail.any-mail.co.uk (1) account. The email server returned an error.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR Connection refused
Server: 'mail.any-mail.co.uk'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC90
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Now here's where it gets interesting. We have it running off 2 computers. a brand new win10, and an old win7. Win7 is running live mail 2011, win10 is running the 2012 version.

the account has never worked on the win10 pc, when account is registered on livemail 2012 on the win 10 pc, it stops the win7 account working (wut...).

Installed thunderbird for testing, said username/password was wrong. Used same details to log onto the online client, so correct details at least.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Scott

Windows Live Mail sent folder shows many e-mails sent to me. Yet when they are opened they show who they were sent to.

How can this be corrected?  I have tried Repair on the Installed programs.

Live Mail won't Open.  States "The application was unable to open the live mail message Store".

Can you tell me how to find the files and how to tell Live Mail where they are please?

Original Title: WLM the end ?

I read in Computer Active mag today that Windows Live Mail 2012 is not being supported after June 2016.

In that all email addresse examples shown ie @outlook.com, @hotmail,@live,@msm are not being supprted after this date .

I have a Virginmedia account my address ends @ntlworld.com using in Windows Live Mail do I need to anything?

Lastly I read that WLM users need to download a patch but there is a warning that WLM may not work after the download, is this true?

and if I do not download the patch will WLM continue to work after June 2016.

Does anyone have any ideas.  Thank you..

Hi,

I have been trying to get in to one of my old accounts on this. Every time i am unsuccessful because I haven't got up to date information on my account. I opened it when I was 14/15 when i needed an address for Facebook. I have been trying for a month now to guess my password for this hotmail account but no luck and i need it to get on to facebook. I have tried everything and I understand that your account gets deleted if your not active on it but there has to be some way to recover it?

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Katie

My eyes are not too good, can I expand the size of Windows  Live when this becomes a problem?
