Windows 10

I just got Windows 10, so I'm just learning it.  However, I hate the photo program!!!  I did a little research to fix the problem to see what other photo galleries I could download.  I REALLY liked Windows Live Photo Gallery...it was photo friendly.  I like putting photos in folders and naming the folders.  I also like to RENAME the folders.  I downloaded Windows Essentials.....because it said it was compatible.  I've downloaded BUT I am unable to customize the Quick Access Bar.  I can not RENAME the folder.  I had to delete the complete folder....open up a new folder on desktop, rename and then move it into the Gallery.  I tried to customize but it was did not have the option.  I could: Expand, Cut, Copy, Remove from gallery, Delete or Create new folder.  Under the arrow: Print, Order Prints, Back, Forward, Undo, Redo, Show below Ribbon, or Minimize the ribbon.  I just want to rename the folder in the GALLERY.  Please advise if this is a GLITCH or  it's not REALLY compatible.

There is a problem with the Office database

Every time I open an Office program (I use Word and Excel often) I get the same database problem message.  The message tells me to rebuild the database using the utility, which I've done at least a halve dozen times.  I get the ok from the utility that it has been rebuilt, but the warning message still comes the next time.  

I've read that this is associated with Outlook.  I don't even use Outlook and when I went to open it per one of the other things I read, I'm instructed to upgrade and that I don't have it!!!

I even uninstalled and reinstalled Office and I still get the message.  

VERY ANNOYING!

lost contacts and messages

My Lumia 635 had a funny turn kept turning its self off then the last time it did it , its lost All my contacts and messages. I've tried all I can think of apart from standing on it and jumping up and down lol!! I cant even click on my Microsoft account to try reinstall it as it wont let any ideas much appreciated x

Running Windows 10 on HP all-in one Pavilion. MS is updated. Install of Photo Gallery 2012 looks fine, pics are there but immediately it "stops working". I have tried all the so called solutions in posts: Removed program in control panel (3x's) and reinstalled from Windows link, ran updates, ran MS "Fix", managed to Sign-in before it  "stops working" I only installed Phot Gallery in MS Essentials.

Lost folder in outlook 2011 for mac

I have outlook 2011 for my Macbook Pro. I was changing my outgoing server in accounts today, and somehow I must have pressed a wrong button, because I got a message telling me that I was Deleting files. I forced quit the program, and when I opened Outlook again, my inbox folder was gone. Now I can´t find it, and I hope somebody can give me advice on how I can recover this folder in my outlook, without losing any of the old e-mails.

Error receiving emails in Windows Mail on Vista

Hello.

I use Windows Mail (not Windows Live Mail) I have 3 accounts on it. 

Everything worked fine and has done for years, until today. I now cannot receive mail on one of the accounts although I can still send mail. 

The other 2 accounts work perfectly well on both send & receive.

The problem account is a hotmail address. When it gets to the authorizing part of the process a box pops up asking for username & password. This does not accept the details I type in even though it's correct. So I click cancel, it checks the other accounts & then this is the error message I get:

 Account: 'pop3.live.com (1)', Server: 'pop3.live.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authentication failed', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

I've checked the account receives mail in a browser and on my iphone & it does

I've deleted the account & added it again

I've changed the password

I've checked all pop3 settings & authentication settings

I'm at wits end here folks!! Please help.

Having trouble shutting down after OS El Capitan upgrade

I can close out Outlook but the Apple icon is no longer visible and I can't shut down my MacBook Air without holding the on/off button. Meanwhile the icon bar still shows but not the shutdown screen

Windows Live Movie Maker–trying to save movie as mp4

I am editing a video and now I want to save the final video as an mp4, but for some reason it will only allow me to save it as a .wmv file. I would strongly prefer to use mp4 format to avoid compatibility issues on other systems.

Any advice on how I can get Windows Live Movie Maker to allow me to save the final video as an mp4?

I have a MS MAIL acct with webmail and gmail linked.

The past few days, I'm getting emails titled "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" over and over and over.  I do have a Hotmail account which I never use. Any help?  Thx.
