I have Windows Live Hotmail.

I see only 2 methods of 'scrolling' back in time through e-mails.  The very tedious and slow "page by page" and the un helpful jump all the way to the beginning (for me, 2005).

Is there a way to scroll continuously or search by month/year? I'm urgently trying to find a few e-mails from a few years back.  I can't recall the sender's name or address.

I received an e-mail from Microsoft, to switch over from WLM2012 to the Windows 10 mail app.

Just to confirm:

  • In the Windows 10 mail app you cannot make folders? You have to leave the app. It can only be done via a browser?
  • I am also using Windows Life Mail 2011. This WLM2011 is not influenced by this terrible switch over decision, so this will keep on working as before and sync with Outlook and Hotmail?

I made a movie in Windows Essential 2012 Photo Gallery, saved it in OneDrive.com and sent it to my contacts using a link. When they play the movie the captions that I had put on the pictures are 15 to 20 frames late and don't match up with the proper pictures.

Re: turning the computer off.

The icon on the bottom left of the desk top.

I used to be able to use my left click mouse.

I got additional information when I used that left mouse.

Now, it seems that I have to use the right clicker on the mouse to turn off the computer and get less information.

How do I change it back to the original use of that icon.

Can't install Windows Movie Maker (Windows Essentials).  Tried on two Windows 7 machines with the same results.  Computer says it's installed.  "Uninstall" shows it (with no size).  Not listed in programs.

Original title: Windows Movie Maker
