Question about Outlook Express

the Windows Security Essentials is orange and when opened, it states that a scan has not been run in a while; however at the bottom of the screen it shows that the last scan was at 9:20 am. It is also scheduled for a daily scan at 1:00 am.

The computer is left on so it may scan

My consultant migrated my Windows Live Mail 2011 account to Outlook 2010 so that there won't be an issue after the Outlook.com changes to take effect after June 30. But on the bottom right of my Outlook 2010 email page, it says "Connected to Windows Live Hotmail". Does this mean that the migration to Outlook.com is not complete for the purposes of being able to continue to sync after June 30?

*I have verified through the Windstream email portal that I can access my email using this exact username/password, I have my phone on airplane mode to prevent overlapping the same sync schedule, gone through the repair/fix module several times, rebooted my computer several times, no clue what else to try at this point - any help please - I really don't want to change email clients?

Hi,

I use Windows Live Mail and logged on this morning only to find all my created folders have disappeared as well as 3 years worth of emails that were stored in them.

I use this for my letting business so having a record of all conversations is essential - please can someone help to get them back?!

1. Use coaxial cable to connect gateway’s cable port to cable outlet.
2. Connect your device to gateway with Ethernet cable or wirelessly.
3. Give power supply to gateway. Ensure that the Power button on the back side is ON.
4. Please wait. Gateway will start obtaining an IP address. Gateway will assign an IP address for your computer.
5. Wait for gateway LED lights to stop blinking. Make sure Power LED, Downstream LED, Upstream LED, Internet LED and LAN LED on gateway are lit.
6. Open a web browser. Enter the IP address of gateway in URL bar of web browser. Press Enter.
7. Enter username and default password.
8. Under Setup, click on Wireless Settings. Enter SSID. Set password and click Apply.
