my pc was hacked and I want set up my windows live e-mail. How do I do it.

How to tell which vs. of Windows Live Mail I have. Don't know if it matters though, I recently am unable to send email. I receive fine.
I use Windows Live Mail 2012 but when I click VIEW SLIDESHOW in an email, nothing happens. I can right click and select SAVE ALL to a folder.
Any idea as to why View Slideshow will not work.
I have gone to Programs and repaired Windows Essentials 2012 but has not fixed the problem.
my cursor is frozen, cntrl, alt, delete does not work unplugging mouse & keyboard does not work what now

and all my files etc. would be protected. This was not the case. My Microsoft Flight Simulator will not work on windows 10 and after many hours wasted trying to get it to work, I was informed by Microsoft that you no longer supported nor supplied the flight
simulator century of flight and that there was nothing I could do about it. I cannot accept this. The flight simulator 2004 is an excellent program and I don't understand how I could be told that when upgrading, all of my files etc. would be protected when
this was not the case. Before I contact the Toronto Star and join in their list of unsatisfied users, I would like to know what Microsoft intends to do to solve my problem. Bernard Ennis
Upgraded to windows 10 2 days ago. Used my Windows Live Mail once. Today a pop-up box is telling me it was not installed properly. Can this be overcome?
When I opened a new Windows Live Main account, (Outlook Email), all of my contacts have disappeared. The email client which I am using is Windows Live Mail 2012. Thank you!

My ISP recently moved my email from an Outlook.com account to an IMAP account. I used to get my email on my iPhone, iPad and iMac. No problems, they all synced and played together nicely.
Now, when the emails are downloaded to the iMac through Outlook 2011, they are removed from the server and if they happened to be on my other devices, they are also removed from them too!
I have noticed a new thing called "On my computer" and this appears to be the culprit as the mails are going to that folder now and this also looks to be like new functionality of Outlook 2011 since a recent update; or could be from the IMAP move...
So my question is, how can I stop the emails being removed from all devices when downloaded to the iMac?

In mid-May all my emails disappeared from 5/16 back to 2009. If I search individually for them I can find them fo read, but then they disappear again. I deleted account and reinstalled and anything from May forward is ok, but nothing from that black hole.
I launched Outlook and all my old emails are there. However, I wish to access Hotmail.
