Since upgrading to Windows 10 my Windows Live Mail seemed to be OK, but since setting up accounts on Windows Mail the WLM contacts list has grown almost two fold with a lot of duplication and contacts I have never heard of. Or maybe it has been upset by clicking cleanup contacts? Please help me restore it.

cannot find reset password or livemail

I had Microsoft Office installed on my Macbook Pro a few months, primarily to use Outlook, as it's my company email system.

I can open Outlook, though a pop up always tells me my connection isn't secure. In the past couple of weeks when trying to send, reply or forward an email, Outlook just freezes, so I have to force quit and try again. Sometimes it will work, other times it will freeze.

I have tried opening Outlook before any other systems I am using such as Safari, Skype etc, I have tried opening Outlook after opening the other systems. Either way makes no difference. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's very frustrating, as I never know when logging into Outlook whether I will be able to send emails or not.

The fact that it works sometimes, and not others, seems to me to be some sort of connectivity issue, so any help would be appreciated. Otherwise I will ditch Outlook, and switch back to Gmail which worked fine.

Hello,

I'm using Windows Movie Maker Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331).

I created a movie and applied 'Video stabilization' to the whole thing; saved, published the movie, and quit the program.

Now I've decided I want to remove the video stabilization, so went back into the Movie Maker file  - but am seemingly unable to do so.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Over the past 3 days, I have been using Windows MM 2011 without any issues whatsoever. I saw that there was a 2012 version of MM available so I downloaded it today to see what added features it may have, as I found that although the 2011 version is very user friendly, it's somewhat limited. The 2012 version is flawed. The transitions option does not work properly and none of the fixes MS has suggested thus far have worked for me and I've tried them all. I have 4 images that I want to use in the very beginning of the project I'm working on. There is nothing wrong with any of these images. I have been using them just fine the past several days. However, in this 2012 version when the first image transitions to the second image, an apparition of the first image remains visible in the frame of the second image. The same thing occurs in the transition from the second to the third and the third to the fourth and so on. As a result, I cannot properly judge how long I should set the duration time for each transition. I tested multiple transition options to see if the problem was universal regardless of the type of transition selected (Blur, Crossface, etc.) and the problem persists. Some of the transition options are worse off than the others, but they all have this apparition issue. Altering the duration of the transition serves in either blacking out the images completely or showing them in the preview playing out of order. I rearranged the images and that did not help matters. I started a brand new project with new images and it's still the same. I precisely followed the steps to repair Windows Essentials 2012 and that did not help to solve the problem at all. I also uninstalled and reinstalled MM 2012 and that did not solve the matter. The video portion of the project also experiences issues when transitioning so the problem is not isolated to just pictures. NOTE: As a test, I made a short 3-minute movie composed of a video clip and pictures. Even though the transition problem with the apparitions was still happening in MM, the MP4 version of this movie is completely absent of the apparitions; therefore, the problem is definitely with MM and the preview it shows of the project that is currently being worked on. Please help fix this issue. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop that runs Windows 7.

I downloaded Windows Live on my new laptop with  Windows 10 on it.  It loaded ok and opens, but a box keeps popping up asking for the user name and password although the button on the right side of the panel sometimes says it is signed in.  The box has the information filled in (although I am not sure of the password being accurate), and it pops up again every time I enter it.  A box occasionally comes up when I open the program that says, "To help protect your information, please sign in again".  No matter what I have done, I have received and sent no mail.  Is the password the newwavecomm.net password or some other one?  I use the name before the @ sign for the name.  Thanks!

Recently, some emails that I send are received multiple times by the recipient and there is nothing in them. No content. When I look at my Sent folder, instead of showing the original recipient's name, it shows my account name in quotes instead. I have changed nothing in my WLM account. I run Windows 7 Home Premium. I just now deleted all the emails in 'mail2web'. There were only 488 of them so I don't think that is the problem.

What is going on?
