Question about Outlook Express

Greetings,

I have a PDF. It is NOT open in another program.

If I send it as an attachment using Microsoft Outlook (latest in Office 365), it seems to add an underscore after the "." in the extension.

This only seems to happen with filenames longer than 72 characters.

IE:  72charactorfilename.pdf becomes 72charactorfilename_._pdf

On the update instructions ,  after deactivating  the old  MLM outlook account and setting up the new imap account my emails fail to download to new account.

  after many many times  trying , it always fails ,citing that the user name or password is incorrect.

  I am using the same log in address ,name , and password  as in my old account.

 After each time I remove the new account  from the folder pane and start over as per exact instructions,

 shouldn't I use the same email address, and password as in my old account?

 please help  new some direction. I have WLM 2012 and Windows 10

Just opened the windows live mail to get my email if any should have come in and all I have is blank everything. It is like it has always been except no mail, no inbox no nothing everything gone.

Know all my mail is stored at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

Does anyone know how in the world I can get all this stored stuff back to my computer????

Whenever I try to send photos in any methods known to me I get the familiar "

unknown error

server SMTP ** Suddenlink,net

unknown error **  0x8007007a

protocol ** SMTP

port 25

secure ssl **  NO

I have tried to send thru one drive, as attachments, thru Photo Gallery, My Pictures etc.  and every other way but the message remains the same, and it is with one picture or multiples. I have never had this problem before with this operating system, windows 7, windows live mail 2012. I have asked my computer store, my server (suddenlink) to no avail????

I have changed NOTHING from previous settings or added any other programs, it just happens *&^&^%$

And how can it be an "unknown error" when they can give me a code ## for it ????????? Why has Microsoft not addressed this ??

How do I export a file that somehow migrated to windows media playlist to windows media center so I can edit it some more?

Then I want to put it on YouTube. . . How do I do that?
