Hi,
My computer was just updated to the aniversary 1607 version.
Windows essentials mail opens ok, however if I try and open some messages, I receive an error saying "Windows Live Mail has stopped working"
I have not being able to determine what qualifies an email as problematic, some are large, 2.4Meg, others with no attachments.
I found a simular report on here, the suggestion was to go into add/remove programs, select Windows Essentials, and get it to repair itself - all done successfully, but it didn't fix my fault.
I was going to try and uninstall some of the latest updates, but have had no sucecess uninstalling - I think the function must be inhibited.

On September 20th, 2016 my system installed scheduled Windows 10 Updates. From that point I can not "send" email. However i can "receive" email perfactly.
The error message in it's entirety is:
Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.net4india.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060
I CAN send and receive mail by way of webmail at mail4india.com.
I contacted net4inadia Tech Support. I was told to change my outgoing Server from "smtp.mail4india.com" to "smtpauth.mail4india.com".
The Outgoing Port is checked to "My server requires authentication" and "Uses the same settings as the Incoming Server".
Outgoing Port is checked to "This Server requires a secure connection (SSL)"
After changing the server IDs there was no difference.
After 15 minutes on the phone with remote control of my system, I was told the problem was not on their end and was told to go to the web and see if I could find an answer there.
I have followed all the instructions in the replies to various community messages.
I am still unable to Send email.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I try to uninstall Windows Live Essentials by running
"c:\program files (x86)\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe" /cleanup:all /q
but I found out that wlarp.exe doesn't exit on my PC
I tried to download it from this below links, that I found in this forum, but this file doesn't exit, too http://g.live.com/1rewlive4arp/wlarp.exe
Where can I get it?
If you need more detailed scenario of my issue:
1. I tried to install Movie Maker from http://www.windows-movie-maker.org/ - I was sure that it is official site for it. But it seems not official :( Movie Maker worked ok, but they are not free, when I tried to save my movie
2. I uninstall it and installed WLE form the Microsoft site.
3. But I can't open it - I get "the directory name is invalid"
4. All attemps t resolved it failed - we tried to clean cash, to restart PC and re-install and etc
5. After all this manipulation I found out that I have WLE on my PC in Programs Files, but can't uninstall it from the Control Panel (this program is not presented there) or by cmd command as I described above.
if you have any other suggestion how to resolve this issue - I'll be glad
Regards,
Julia
P.S: I am using Windows Essentials 2012 to install Movie Maker and Photo Gallery.
