My movie maker imports the video, I can see the film and hear the movie but the window where I need to see the film in is black.
I am presenting in a conference on Tuesday and need the movie maker urgently!!!

I cannot download video from my digital camcorder (Sony). When I open Movie Maker and go to "Capture video", there are 3 options
1. Import videos
2. Import pictures
3. Import audio or music
If I click 1. there is no option to capture video from a camcorder; only to get clips or files already on the PC, the same is true for 2. and 3.
Is there a way to import video from my camcorder via a firewire (for which I have a connection from vcr to pc

Help needed.
i have created a video for college using various video clippings of a presentation and want to compile them together as one video.
However- when I watch the video back some clippings are cutting across the previous- the audio at the beginning of one is cutting off the audio at the very end of another. I can't find an option to lengthen the previous frame so this doesn't happen and sentences are being cut off.
the videos are merging too fast basically.
can anyone help me please?

I am trying to edit a personal video in Movie Maker using Windows 10 and I cannot figure out how to set the 'start and end points' so that I can remove portions of the movie. Also, how do i convert a video from flv format to another format that movie
maker will recognize and accept. Thanks for your help.

1. error message that it didn't install
or
2. says it installed (about 2 seconds after I hit "install") but it hasn't.
When I look for folder there is none.
what can I do now to correct this? I have read previous answers and they are no help.

My Windows live mail will not send messages
I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012. When saving e-mails they save as this type of icon instead of the little white eml envelope even though they are still eml files. I can't open them though.
Any idea why? I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and repairing the programme to no avail. I am running 8.1 on a desktop PC and the problem only started a few months ago. All my business e-mails can no longer be viewed.
Trouble with the latest e-mail programmes/apps, you cannot save them to your PC or insert pictures etc which is no good to me.
HELP PLEASE!
