My father's Window's Live Mail account wasn't receiving emails for a few days which is very unusual as he uses it for both personal and business, so he asked me to send him a test email which I did - but it wasn't received. I said that I’ll come and have a look at it, but I live pretty far away so only got to it today. I fixed the problem and now it's receiving emails from today but not anything from the last week including my test email. 


I contacted the Live Help section for advice and the person said that anything that was sent and not received can’t be received now unless the sender resends them again.


I think this is crazy and totally unacceptable, he could be after missing out on important emails and we have no way of knowing unless we ring and email everyone one of his contacts asking them to resend anything from the last 7 days.


Has anyone else had this problem??
