I am trying to delete an email profile in Outlook:Mac 2011 (V14.4.1).

I can open the Accounts window by going to tools>accounts but the window freezes. I can't select any of the email accounts (I have a number of them set up for different clients). I can't add accounts, and I can't delete any of the existing ones.

Can anyone give me some ideas of what I can do to get around this? I need to delete some accounts and it's impossible!!

Hello all! I have a user on my office network using a Mac Mini running the latest version of Mavericks, lets call them user V. User V has Outlook 2011 installed and has several delegates configured on the account. User V is unable to send as/on behalf of these delegates. Other people in her department can send as the same exact delegates with out issue. The error message that user V receives is:

Error
HTTP error. The server cannot fufill the request.

Details
Mail could not be sent. The message has been moved to your Drafts folder.

Account name: "Delegates name"

Error code: -18500

I have tried rebuilding the account on user V's computer, reinstalling all of MS office and have worked with MS support over several phone calls over the last few weeks to no avail. I have configured user V's account on a different Mac Mini and did not encounter the issue there.

If anyone has any suggestions on where to go next it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi All,

I really hope I can get some answers here. Both myself and a colleague are using Outlook 2011. I am on Maverick OS and my colleague is on Mountain Lion. We are experiencing intermittent losses of connection to Exchange 2012. Before we could just not connect to the exchange and after a period of time it would connect. Now we get an error message 'end of file reached' when trying to send an email.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction as to how this can be resolved?

Thank you.

Hi,

I was trying to create a new Calendar in Outlook, it always to create it as a folder under On My Computer option. Isn't there a option to create a Calendar directly under the root folder. Also it is not possible to create an Meeting in a specified folder, it always gets added to the Calendar (the default folder). I'm also not able to move the created meetings/appointments from the Calendar folder to another folder. Is this the expected behaviour.

Some links which I had already seen are:

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

I have bought a Mac and Office 2011 for Mac in December 2013. Everything was well until today. Everything has disappeared. I opened Outlook and there is not any cita, any contact (and Ihad 1.500 aprox.), any note, any mail. Even have disappeared the configuration of three e-mail counts. How can I recover everything

I am using Office for Mac 2011. In the outlook, there is no option for inserting a table into the body of the email.

Even if I cut and paste a table from microsoft word onto outlook and vice versa, the alignment and font all changes. It is difficult to make changes in any table in outlook

When we reply to any email also, the font and alignment of the email changes automatically and if you try to modify, it does not allow

When using outlook on windows, you may modify the attachment and save the changes in the attachment only for sending the email. This is not permitted in office for MAC 2011. If you make any changes to the attachment, to save the changes, you have to save the document on the computer. Basically, the changes is made to the original document itself. e.g. if attaching an excel file, if on the windows platform, you can delete worksheet or even make changes, but in the Mac platform, this is not permitted.

Hope for some concrete solution or else it is difficult to use the outlook on the Office for MAC 2011.

Rgds

This just started a couple of weeks ago. I'm running Outlook 14.4.1 on Mavericks 10.9.3, but before I updated, the problem occurred. The sub-folders just disappear after Outlook is open for a while. There appears to be no specific time and my RAM situation doesn't seem to be an issue. The folders come back if I quit and relaunch Outlook, but nothing I do makes them want to stick around.

Rebuilding the database doesn't help; neither does dumping .plists or prefs. Any ideas?

I cannot get to the Advanced button in the Accounts window. Every time I try, Outlook locks up and I have to Force Quit, then relaunch.

I have killed .plists and prefs files, rebuilt the database (although I can't think why that would matter), uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Office 2011 suite (more than once); updated to the most current version, and still, I cannot use the Advanced button. It's not that much of a problem on a POP account, but is definitely an issue on IMAP accounts. I am completely at my wit's end.

Anyone know why this happens or more important, how to fix or work around it?

Thanks.

Hi,

I've just upgraded my iMac to Mavericks v: 10.9.3 and iTunes v: 11.2.0 / 11.2.1 in the last few days (May 2014) .... and was hoping that these new updates would restore the option to sync my iPhone to my contacts in Outlook 2011 via USB.

Although my iPhone now successfully syncs with my Apple 'Address Book' & iTunes via USB  .... the 'sync services' in Outlook preferences remains empty as in the following image.

I would be mighty grateful for any solutions to this problem ....  and wonder if this problem has been experienced by anyone else.

My version of MS Outlook 2011 for Mac is 14.4.1

Cheers
