When will skydrive partial sync be supported

My wife is pretty heavy in picture and scrapbooking and she wants "everything everywhere" which of course would imply unlimited space on all machine. Which obviously is not the case. Any chance you guys would consider finishing this product so that i can select clearly what get synchronized on which device?

 

Will you do this soon or do i find another such service from one of your competitors ?

Windows 8 desktop skydrive

I have the skydrive app for windows 8 and the desktop downloaded skydrive in the file explorer. I can save documents to the file explorer skydrive and I can find it on the skydrive app but when I click on the desktop skydrive in the file explorer there are none of my skydrive folders. Just a LOCK file. Should I have my skydrive folders here or is it just a way to save directly to skydrive not putting anything in folders?

Email log question

I am looking to retrieve some sort of email log that would list emails sent from my hotmail account. I sent an email to a specific recipient, which now is of legal importance, and really need to confirm when the email was sent date-wise. I had an email spring-clean a year or two ago and deleted all older emails not realising this email would become so important. Are such records kept? Would it be possible to gain access to such a record if in existence please?

Getting a pop up message when I try to log on demanding info for “improved security”

It began a number of days ago, bklocking immediate access to my inbox. Asks that I provide a current security code or another email addy so info can be sent to me about enhancing my security. If I look at what do they want - my telephone number is also mandatory!
It is like a countdown...I have (and I used the option) to hold off for another day. Today it says I have 4 more days.
I'm not even sure what the "or " is.
It is very alarming to me and I can neither check if this is for real nor get rid of it.

Several other Hotmail/Outlook users I know have had no such message. Advice needed!

email signature 403 access denied forbidden

Hi,

Please can anyone tell me what is the solution. I've been trying to modify my email signature but it is just impossible. I've tried different computers, different explorers, different microsoft version... But impossible to modify my email signature (outlook web access, which before was hotmail). I always get the same error : 403 access denied forbidden.......

Please, any solution ?

Ongoing problems with SMTP, awful moderator “support,” I need to know if this issue will ever be fixed!

I have been having problems sending emails from the SMTP server. This has been going on for 6 months. There was a community thread started way back in February where many people described the same problem with their accounts. Over the past few months, moderators have entered the conversation with suggestions and advice that were already attempted numerous times, and it has become clear that they are either not reading through the thread or they really don't know how to resolve the issue. Supposedly it was escalated, but any time an update is requested, they go through the SAME THINGS that were already attempted or provide no support at all. I have been as polite as possible, trying all the moderators suggestions and advice and letting them know the outcomes, even though these were already attempted by myself and others quite a few times. For the 2nd time in a month, I have had a moderator answer me with a suggestion, ask me to let them know the outcome, and then the thread was locked. This is awful support service.

To describe the issue, once again, for the bajillionth time, I want to send emails from my hotmail account using gmail and the outlook SMTP server. I have done this for 2 years now without any problems until a few months ago when I kept getting error messages after sending emails. Then anytime I tried entering my password to authenticate on the SMTP server, I would get this message: 
 Authentication failed. Please check your username/password. 
[Server response: 535 5.2.1 Login to your account via a web browser to verify your account. code(535) ]

There was a thread where someone suggested linking another account to the account you were trying to send messages from, essentially forcing two-step authorization to stop. This worked until Microsoft decided to remove the linking accounts feature without warning. Now I am back to square one and I want a solution! Or, at the very least, I deserve enough courtesy and respect to be told the issue won't be resolved and that I can move on.

Canceling Admin Center domain service breaks Contacts/People

I registered a domain (using a test domain thankfully) in Windows Live Admin Center and imported an existing test Microsoft account to use with it.

I wanted to test the process for removing the domain and continuing to use the Microsoft account as a regular account in case I ever need to migrate away from WLAC for email.

The mailbox for that account is no longer available and that is expected. However, contacts/People also no longer works for that account. I either get an infinite-looping redirect, or an outlook.com-branded error page. This is not expected since contacts/People feature works on Microsoft accounts that do not have mail services (using "email as sign in only").

Note: the Microsoft account with the issue is different than the account used to post this topic.

I am planning to migrate from Google Apps to WLAC with Outlook.com mail but I need to make sure that if I ever need to migrate from WLAC for whatever reason in the future, that the Microsoft accounts registered for the domain can continue using critical features (expect for mail obviously) of the Microsoft account such as contacts/People.
