Windows Live Mail won’t delete emails properly

I have 4 different email accounts connected. When I delete emails in the first one they do not disappear until I click into one of the other accounts and then go back into the first account. This only happens on the first account not the other three. I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled with no success. I have not made any changes or downloaded any new programs--it just started happening. OS is Windows Home Premium. Any ideas?

Mac Mail will not download Outlook.com Inbox

Hi,

I am so excited that Outlook.com now support IMAP.  I set my Mac Mail up right away, but it doesn't sync inbox.  rest of folders are all sync'ed up.

When I click on a warning icon next to inbox, i see "IMAP command Exmine failed with server error 9".

I've removed and re-set up my hotmail account on the Mac Mail, but still doesn't sync inbox.

I've also tried to set up hotmail via IMAP on Mac Outlook and inbox does not sync either.

Lost emails!

I decided to deactivate and close my hotmail account because of so many perverse junk mails.  I decided to reactivate the same day and try to block some of those junk mails.  However, when I logged back in, all of my inbox emails and saved emails were gone. It was like a brand new account, even though I used the same username and password.  Is there some way to retrieve those; there were many important job documentation emails I need.  Thanks for any help!

Delete E-mail Addresses That Appear In My “To” Box

How do I delete e-mail addresses that are automatically appearing amongst the names on my contact list? 

They appear when I enter a letter of the alphabet in the "To" box. 

I can't delete them since they don't actually appear on my contact list. 

For example, if I want to send an e-mail to John Smith and John isn't one of my frequent contacts, when I type in the J for John, I get e-mail addresses that I don't recognize, and several of them are from my Craigslist communications.   

I'd rather they not be there and would like to stop them from being there. 

How do I do that?

Age verification for UK based child on a MS account

Having a similar problem to others in validating my sons account on his new Nokia Lumia 620.  Contacted MS help and got pushed back to the forum.  Picked up a phone number to call and that was pointless.  Really think that MS post needs updating!

 

So the problem is:

 

New UK purchased nokia phone. I have an account to authorise from but when I try is rejects the card number as non US based because the default seems to be to the US [ which given MS is a multinational organisation and product is rubbish anyway]

 

The phone is certainly UK registered I checked.  Likewise son email has a .co.uk extension and as the shop set up his MS account I think that will be UK based. 

Any suggestions?

how do you find a way to have only one email address in hotmail address book as the preferred email (three choices – personal, other and work)

other personal and work
i have email addresses in all three categories but cannot figure out how to set the system to chose only ONE of these three as the preferred one i want all emails to go as the default.

any help please
