Can't sign into email - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - Was told to post issue here?? We have answered several questions over & over & over again.  We have talked to people on the phone.  Finally we were told via email to post issue here.  How do we access this email account?

In Windows 7 and 8.0, I would relocate my user shell folders (the "my" folders: Docs, Pics, Videos, Music) into my SkyDrive folder.  This way when I saved a file locally to the default doc location, it was also replicated online and synced to my other computers, plus it was automatically part of my libraries for programs that use that (Media Player/Center, etc).  I would really like to do that in Windows 8.1, but I don't want to break anything.  I am asking if this is a supported use case.

When I try to relocate a user shell folder from the Properties' location tab, I receive this prompt:

Is it safe to proceed with redirection?  Is there any risk of it causing sync issues?

PS. I am testing this on Windows 8.1 RTM from my MSDN evaluation subscription.

Hi,
In chronological order:
--got & used new skydrive account this year--sent links to family for photos about 3 months ago & no problems
--tried to sign in yesterday, but error read "account has been temporarily blocked" (mentioned about junk messages or violating the agreement) -- we don't know why since it's just some vacation & family photos on there
--we tried to reset password--didn't work, tried to get a code--got code by email & we were able to "edit" our account (added another ph.# to receive text), but cannot get any further into the website...i.e. to view the photos
--we clicked on "close account" but not sure if that even worked, so emailed support team (they didn't answer that question) & at first said we didn't have an account; subsequently they just mentioned about resetting password, & finally about asking the question on this forum
--today we have tried resetting password & getting codes several times--going in circles
We connect by using the website skydrive.live.com (we do not have an app installed).
We do not have a hotmail account.
Help please!
Thanks,
EAH

I have my Outlook.com account pulled into Outlook 2010 and it's working fine there but when I try to access my account on the web at outlook.com there isn't anything in the Inbox.  I have it set up in Outlook 2010 as POP and set to leave a copy on the server, but that doesn't seem to be working.

Is this a known issue?

I've had a SkyDrive account for quite some time, working fine.

Lately, updates/changes never sync.

I've tried all the troubleshooting tips I can find - nothing helps.

I have my Drive shared online with 2 research partners. When I add a new folder or a new document or just move a document from one folder to another, the online version never changes.

I see the "looking for changes" 99% of the time, but nothing ever happens - days later and still nothing has changed. Occasionally I see the "up-to-date" message and get excited, but no joy - still nothing has changed/updated.

I've removed everything from the SkyDrive TWICE, with re-installs and re-boots - still nothing.

Please - I need this to work simply, easily, properly.

Hi, can you please help me: My sent emails are showing up in other recipient's outlook inboxes with my facebook photo and links to facebook even though my account shows no such link. I have read all the posts and tried the many solutions, but cannot achieve any results.  Can you please advise me the appropriate steps to stop this?

Thanks

I have 3 buddies we email on smartphones every day.  One of my buddies, with Gmail, send an email out and the email comes in with only with his email (not showing his name) and then I get ALL of the header information at the front of the email, then his message.  I don't know if it is him, or outlook.  Any thoughts?
I use Outlook for most of my emails on my MacBookPro.  I have reached the maximum 128 folders that Outlook evidently permits.  I have a number of folders, both primary and secondary, that I would like to remove completely.  They are no longer needed, and if I can remove them permanently then it opens up space for new folders.  So how do I go about permanently remove old, unnecessary folders?
