Need help. Of late i have been getting an email from Windows Live Team (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) with the topic GENERAL RESET ALERT CONFIRMATION 2013 and EMAIL ALERT asking me to update my account. Content of the email copied below.

I have been using this account since 1999 and have never been in the past got any such mail. Is this some kind of information gathering for Identity theft. As far as I know Microsoft would not send such a mail asking my email, password, DOB, Country
and phone number.
My wife's account being hacked and she has filled up the questionnaire to request reset of her account.
But she received Microsoft's email in her alternative email saying:
" Because you've turned on two-step verification for your account, we ignore these requests but wanted to let you know."
So what other way can she retrieve/ reset her hacked account?

This is of some importance to me and I greatly appreciate any assistance on the matter. I'm trying to locate an e-mail sent to me from an employer. I believe I received it between the 16th September and the 20th September. I'm 100% certain that I didn't
delete it and am gobsmacked as to where it has gone.
I've looked through all the folders to try and find it and can't. I looked in the deleted folder and don't see any retrieve e-mail option so I can't retrieve it from the deleted e-mail box if it has been deleted.
I must say that I need a speedy resolution to the matter as it was an invitation for a job and I need to accept the invitation by today 20th September.
I believe that this is not the first time this has happened and would greatly appreciate any ideas on the matter or solutions.

My school has just set up a new intranet, which uses a pre-set email account for login. This account seems to work as a Microsoft account
Their system has a link to skydrive, how-ever I'm already using skydrive, on an other Microsoft account.
Is there a way that i can link these two accounts?
