I am trying to sign up Concord Baptist Church located in Cumming, GA for Outlook.com's email service on that domain. I am getting this message and need assistance please so I can get their email working.
This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

I suppose the city name is preventing registration. As this is obviously nothing inappropriate, could I get an exception for this domain name? Thank you. :)

Hi,

I am unable to reset one of my email address passwords, I have not used this in a few weeks and have forgotten the password.

As I created the email account almost 7 years ago, I can't remember the answer to my secret question and have been locked out of making any more guesses.

I am also unable to email a password reset link and the email address I had listed no longer exists as I stopped using it 7 years ago when I created this one.

Is there anything that can be done to get me into my account?

Krystal.

Hi there. I have been trying to install SkyDrive on my Windows 7 PC and I have no idea why the installer quits. I double-click the SkyDrive Setup icon and then its asks me to allow the program to run and I press "OK" and nothing pops up. I looked at Task Manager and saw the SkyDrive installer process running and it immediately disappears in like 3 seconds.

Any ideas why? It's strange.

I just tried to get help with live chat, and the guy wouldn't answer my question, was rude, and terminated the chat.  He told me to come  here, then I have to wait 24 hours for a response.  He wasted a half hour of my time, then after coming here it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to post a question.

I depend on my email working all the time and it has until today.

I use Outlook 2010 as my email client and suddenly the smtp server started rejecting my password.  I'm using the same password I use for the web version of Outlook.com email.  Also I use the same credentials for pop3 and smtp.  The incoming server still works. I can send from my webmail and receive it in my pop 3 account in Outlook.  But when I try to do a test in the account settings it comes back with an error when trying to send, it says my password is invalid.

I'm using pop3.live.com for incoming and smtp.live.com for outgoing.  Same credentials. Incoming works outgoing doesn't.

I hope someone can help me here.  I have to leave now, but I'll check back later for replies.  I don't think I can get the replies on my smartphone though.

Thanks!

I want to setup a non-profit I support with Outlook.com's custom domains, but, our website uses CDO's to send emails to people when they register for events.  I didn't want to risk messing up the email systems, so I bought a domain and got it setup with Outlook.com.  My question is, what smtp server do I use?  I turned on POP access to the account and when I went through the help on how to setup apps using POP it provided an SMTP address of:
smtp-mail.outlook.com

The ports, SSL, etc... are all setup correctly.  But, when the webpage that is trying to send an email through this SMTP address runs, I get the error '80040211' which means there was a problem with the SMTP server.

Is there a way to use CDO to send emails from this website through our custom domain outlook.com?

Thanks!

The email says that they need this since they are doing work on the Hotmail accounts and if I don't send it they will close it down and I will loose all my information and account -- all in french. Is this legit? Really sounds like a scam but rather double check. Let me know! Thanks!
Recently I haven't been able to access and use my main email address. I always keep on top of my emails, to do this I log onto it using many devices however recently Microsoft have been telling me to vertify my account. Unfortunately they wont open my account back up for me and I haven't been able to access my proper email account for around a week or so, this is getting really annoying and they don't respond to anything? Any ideas? Thanks
Is there a way I can recover e mails that I have eliminated? I NEED ONE SPECIFIC mail back again. thank you.

I have missed some email attachments due to overlooking the addition of the scrollbar in the message. I know that I can also hover over the message icon to get an attachment count, but it isn't habit since I usually don't receive multiple attachments. To prevent this in the future, I've set an alert for all email messages with attachments (overkill!) until I can train myself to look for these hidden (to me) attachments, but I really wish there were an easier way to catch these.
