A long time ago I created an email account. My password somehow got switched and now I cant log into my email. I've tried doing the password recovery but i can never get enough information needed to switch my password. I can't remember anything i put because
like I said, it was a really long time ago. I really need my email back so i can use it for school and xbox live. Is there any other way i can get back my account?
I have been having an issue with my email address where I can receive emails just fine but whenever someone emails me, THEY get a notification saying delivery has failed to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which by the way is NOT my email address.
Hello, i have that problem.
When i try to set up my email-of-domain that use Outlook.com as webmail in my Office Client Outlook, the SMTP doesn't connect without care if is the option of IMAP or POP3 !.
I try this configuration but just the SMTP server doesnt finish the validation. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/send-receive-from-app
I try with the part of IMAP & SMTP and POP3 & SMTP
Server address: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 25 (or 587 if 25 is blocked)
Authentication: Yes
- Encrypted Connection: TLS
Which will be the reason that my Outlook Office Client doesnt connect?
when the emails come up it is as if the screen is refreshing. the emails appear and then disappear two maybe three times and then they disappear completely. I have to reenter the address a couple of times and eventually the emails stay on the screen.
I changed my password for my Microsoft account and now I can't sync my mail with the iPhone mail app and the outlook desktop app isn't working either, the Windows 8 mail app works fine and I can sign in to the web app. This is a big inconvenience because
I use the iPhone app 99% of the time. I've changed it several times now and it still won't work, and the two step verification passwords aren't working either.
I've deleted the account on both my iPhone and the desktop app (also deleted profile) several times and rebooted and it still isn't working.
Hi,
I have recently had certain emails appear in my sent folder rather than my inbox.
Is there are way that a hacker could have made these emails (from paypal) go straight to my sent folder so that I dont see them?
I have no idea why they're going there.
Is there a filter?
Thanks
When outlook was first introduced, I secured an Outlook.com address that is similar (not the same) to my Hotmail acct. I wish to add this Outlook address as my alias, but when I attempt to add it, it says "This email address is already taken. Please try
another. " I know it's taken... it's taken by ME !! I realise that linking accounts is no longer an option, but this seems ridiculous - Am I missing something ? I have also tried to do the reverse, i.e. add my Hotmail acct as an alias to the Outlook address,
but I get the same result. Am I correct in assuming I have to DELETE the Outlook address I want to use before I add it as an alias? very counter intuitive if this is the case. Any help greatly appreciated.
I was working on a spreadsheet today, one I've been working with for several years. It is a shared file we use daily for several years. We are experienced users with skydrive. I shut down my pc, and upon firing things up a couple hours later, all of
my files and folders are gone from Skydrive. There is nothing in a recycle bin. We did not delete any files, certainly not all of our folders. We use the web interface, no apps or syncing. What's up?
Ok, so all of my problems stem from when ever I try to do anything on xbox live it wants to verify my email and password. I do have xbox live and it is paid for. I had forgotten my hotmail password and security question, tried the "I can't use any of these
options" and it failed. They sent me a message that "Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient" and "We have taken the additional step of blocking your account".
I can't remember all the information because I set up that account more than ten years ago. Then I went on the community forum and posted a message on one where other people were having the same problem as me, no reply.
On the 19th I was able to get a message through to the Microsoft support site, the only help they could give me was to tell me to do the exact same steps I had already taken. Actually I just looked again and they wanted me to
"log in to my account and edit my first and last name" which kind of pisses me off because that means there not even reading what my problem is. I just need to switch my xbox live accounts email to gmail and I will
never have this problem again.
I have the account I need to get into, the Account Recovery Request number, and the Microsoft Support Request ID. Please actually read my message and tell me what I need to do.
Please can you let me know what to do to resolve this as I haven't received an email for nearly 2 weeks since this problem and I it is a real issue.
