All of my skydrive folders disappeared. 3 default ? Folders appeared. Why ???

Where did my folders go and why ???

I need to obtain IP log history to track down my stolen Ipad.

My ipad was stolen so i would like a history of ip addresses that logged in or tried to log in to my hotmail account. i hear this is possible. The date i'm looking for is Sept 21, 2013.

POP Folder and Settings?

Ok, I noticed this POP folder and had a spaz and deleted it. There was nothing of importance in there, I checked first, but I thought somehow a malicious e-mail or something had created it so wanted it gone as fast as poss lol.... Now I'm getting this notification at the bottom of my screen all the time saying " Your messages are in your POP folder! Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder. Not an accident? Change Settings" 

 I click "Change Settings" next to this and it says:

"Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook at the moment
If you continue to have this problem, please report it to Microsoft."
so what do I do... :(

Recurring Synch Problem in SkyDrive: Filename too long. Can’t fix problem.

I am having a nightmare experience trying to synch my files to SkyDrive. One recurring problem is that SkyDrive keeps coming up with a synch error due to the fact that some files have filenames that are too long for it. When it encounters one, SkyDrive stops, posts an error message with the offending file's name and location and then if I hit OK, SkyDrive dies. Happens endlessly. So I go and change/delete the offending file and it keeps coming back. I can't seem to find the master source. It seems that SkyDrive is synching all files from all locations and unless I were able to delete the offending file from all locations simultaneously, it keeps coming back. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've been working on this for days!!!!!!!!!!

Account became child’s account and now I’m locked out

   I was adjusting my personal information and decided that I don't want my birth date to show.
  I went into privacy settings, and also security settings, to see if I could keep contacts from knowing this information; I couldn't find anything related to it, so I changed by birth date info to default (month/day/year). My birth mo. and day disappeared, but my birth year still showed regardless of the change, so I changed it 2013, and now I need a parent's permission to sign into my account !!
  I then got on my other account, which is linked, to see if I could fix the issue but found that if I claim a child's account I have to prove that I am an adult by entering my b-date AND my credit card info to pay for the account before I'm able to access it !   I'm not paying, and I don't EVER enter card numbers on my computer.
So frustrating, and embarrassing; ridiculous. 
   
 Also, was my b-day private to begin with?

Account closed due to hacker violating ToS

I have been trying to reacquire my old hotmail account, that my iTunes etc is linked to and is now asking for verification from the address that i cant access. After being unable to log in, I began the arduous process of retrieving my account through the questionnaire etc. Once I had successfully recovered my account however, I discovered the account in question was hacked, and thus closed on terms of violating the ToS, both of which occurred without my knowledge until after the fact. Upon trying to make a new account of the same name, it returns with a 'reserved' status. I have been bounced around for a few days now between departments, and finally pointed to post here in the hopes someone can help me. I would really honestly love some way to just get access to the email portion of the account, or even have a temporary one set up and forwarded so I can retrieve the password recovery email for things such as iTunes so as to seperate such things from this address. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Seriously, it would.

How change default/primary calendar of a SHARED/co-owner calendar

I've seen plenty of posts about going to the calendar page, clicking the cog, selecting Options and then scrolling down to the Primary Calendar section to set your primary calendar. However, the only options in there are calendars I created. I created a family calendar and it is my primary calendar. I shared that calendar with my family and each of them are co-owners. However, when they go to the Options and look in the Primary Calendar drop down, that family calendar does NOT show. As a test my wife created a test calendar and then shared with me making me a co-owner. I accepted the share invite and then went to the options page and yet that newly shared calendar doesn't show in my list. Some of these calendars have been in place and shared as co-owners for a couple years and yet they do not show in the Primary Calendar drop down for any person in my family that did not actually create that calendar. This makes for trouble when on a mobile device, for example, and you are quickly adding a family calendar event because you always need to make sure you go back and manually change the calendar to the family one.

Skydrive website cannot connect to my Windows 8 PC

I have set up my skydrive account and downloaded the app to my desktop.  When I open the app, I see the main screen that shows the files in the skydrive but no icon appears in my taskbar.  When I try to access my PC via the skydrive website, I get a message stating "sorry but skydrive can't connect to your PC."  I only have one pc linked to skydrive and it is my home pc.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the skydrive app on my computer.  Sometimes when I first reinstall I see the icon in my task bar and am able to make sure that "let me use skydrive to fetch any of my files from this PC" is selected, and I am also able to access the pc from the skydrive website.  However, as soon as I restart my computer, the skydrive icon no longer appears on my taskbar (even though the app is running) and I can't connect to the pc from the skydrive website.  I have reviewed several other posts that discuss similar issues but none of the solutions offered in those posts has helped me.  I would appreciate some advice on how to fix this problem since I would like to be able to retrieve files from my pc using the skydrive website.  Thanks.
