I have an old hotmail account that merged with my outlook account when it first rolled out. I do not use the outlook account as my primary, I use a gmail. I have obviously forgot my password and when I go to do the reset it asks my first pet name(no
clue there) and has the option to send to my phone number(last two digits are the same as my wife's phone number). What are my options? I had to create this new outlook account to post this question, I really need my old outlook account since it is associated
with my Xbox Live, Steam and a few other things. I am also locked out of the account since I have tried too many times. This account is also used for my Windows 8 store and account
every once in awhile I have to sign in every second..whats up with that? I am looking at my email and it says sign in again, so I do and then I start reading an email and it pops up again and again.
this has happened before...
anyone having the same problem?
I just got the iphone 5c and I am trying to sync my hotmail account to it. It is giving me a message of: "a windows live hotmail plus subscription is required to use hotmail accounts with mail". why is that?
When I create a new email, I can enter To: email address. Subject: can be entered.
To the body or message pane no text or numbers can be added, just dots?
Any help would be appreciated.
When editing a contact in Outlook under the "Contact" tab, there is a field called "Display as". This filed is usually automatically filled in with the contact's "Full Name". However, Outlook INSISTS on appending the contact's email address immediately
after the name. For example, if the contact's name is "First Last", the "Display as" field shows "First Last (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). The "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" value is exactly as shown in the "E-Mail" field. Since I only want the "Display as:" field to show "First Last" I
deleted all the email values in all my contacts in the "Display as:" field and did a Save & Close on each one. After closing and opening Outlook, or...after waiting a few minutes without closing, Outlook seems to think I wasn't serious and appended all the
contact "Display as:" fields with the value in the "E-mail..." field. NOT GOOD. How does one make this change permanent? Is there possibly a registry hack.
I am running the Outlook 2010 client on Windows 7 64 bit. I have tested this issue on XP and Office 2010 as well. Same problem. I am not running skydrive or any other web sharing or contact application. I can duplicate this on a different physical machine.
This makes absolutely no sense. Can someone please find out where this can be changed permanently?
Thanks!!
I can't receive any email since yesterday. Please help.
In the past few days my email account has redirected to an unknown domain a few minutes after I sign in so that I cannot access my email at all. After trying to get it to stop redirecting, I found that if I click on Account Options immediately after opening
my email, it won't redirect and I can use my email. How can I get it to stop redirecting?
I have lost my email to my account I have already contacted support and could not verify account. what are the options recover my gamertag.
i wrote in July that e-mails older than 30 days keep disappearing. While I can and do recover them using the self recovery process of all deleted messages - this is a pain in the neck. I am an active user. This has only started since my conversion from
Hotmail.
How do I stop this from occurring.
