After spending days trying to fix too many problems with an old version of Outlook - I gave up and decided I was going to try outlook.com as my primary tool.

Many problems - biggest - many posts on this forum about an existing problem with folders.  According to MS you can have 124 main/parent folders but unlimited sub folders.  Obviously something is wrong because I along with a whole bunch of other people keep getting the error when adding sub folders.  The MS guy said the work around was to down load (he provided a link) Windows Live Mail.  He said we can add to our hearts content there and then it will show at outlook.com

I did it....hours later....I'm cleaning out my boxes in Windows Live Mail.  Deleting and adding subfolders.  I synced frequently and tested it at outlook.com and it was working....for about 20 minutes.

NOW I get an error in Windows Live Mail

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (clarksnack) account.

Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

I found posts on this board with many people having the same problem and the answer is always the same - hit reply and provide your full email address and someone at MS will fix it on the back end.  Problem is, when you hit REPLY it just spins and spins and spins for longer than 15 minutes.  I gave up.

I'm not sending a whole message that captures just a small eensy % of the effort have put into this hoping someone feels so sorry for me that the fix ALL the problems magically instantly so I can actually work instead of figure out how to get my emails.  

my email is (removed for security reason) and I pasted the FULL error message above.  THERE IS NOTHING IN MY OUT BOX.

HELP anyone.

I have been using Windows Live Essentials since Windows 7 came out.  It is currently up to date but all of a sudden today, I cannot connect and pick up my mail.

I get the following error:

I have deleted some SENT emails that I would like to recover; is that possible
I got locked out about 6 months ago.  I don't have the credentials for my alternative email and I've filled out the questionaire twice to no avail.  I opened a ticket with Microsoft and they sent me here.  I needed to create another email acct in order to sign in and post.  It's a lot of trouble to go through.  Help?
 Tried https://commerce.microsoft.com as recommended in the 'no reply' email I received, but encountering problem verifying who I am?? Have had this email acct for over 10 years. Why are they making such a big deal out of a simple cc verification? What's with the Code thing? I can't afford to wait for the 30 days they say it takes to verify everything, I may lose my only email account with tons of letters, etc. stored there.
My flagged messages are being deleted by the system. It has happened several times and I am not positive I am not deleting them. I cleared the cache, looked at the Outlook rules and all other solutions provided to other users in this community and the messages are not back. Please help!

I received an email from Microsoft saying I requested to change my password (I hadn't). It was sent to my correct email address, but the the request was not from any of my email accounts.

i changed my password & set up 2 step verification. I successfully got this email working again on my smartphone as well.

However, I use Windows Live Mail for all my hotmail/live emails & no matter what I've done, I can't get it to connect to the email with the changed password. 
I deleted the account & added it again. I re-installed my Windows Live programs. I've tried to follow the advice on this help section.

In the error message that I get when trying to receive from this email account, it says there is an error, but there is nothing written in the white space that normally has the error info.

Can Microsoft re-set this account?

I lost access on my account about 4 days ago and i can't recover it. It's (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***).
The problem all occurred because i was logged in using my laptop then i tried to log in from another laptop without signing out from the other one, so it seemed like someone is using my account. So, it was blocked. Then I was asked to create a new Hotmail account to help recover mine, and i created the one I'm using right away.
I sent more than 3 requests already, I was asked to enter all the passwords i ever used for this account, and the latest email subjects and to whom they were sent.....etc. I filled all the request required spaces, more than once. And every time i was sent an email that my request failed to recover the account.
And a few minutes ago, after filling another request, I received an email that ownership can not be verified using the given information so the email will be totally blocked and I should create a new one !!!

I just chatted with a customer service representative and he redirected me to send my concern here.
 
I really need to recover my account. I can't just create a new one and forget about the other one! It's connected to all my other accounts and It really matters to me to use the old one. I need help. Please!  
Kindly tell me any other possible ways to retrieve my email account ASAP.
