Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem.
Would also just like to state that Live Mail 2010 was the greatest mail program ever - it was stupid to have made any changes to it.

I am currently using Windows Live Essentials 2012 - Live Mail. and have been doing so for about a year. Now when ever I try to create a new calendar event it will not let me do so and reports that Live Mail is having a problem reading the message. I find
this very strange as all message have been read, deleted or junked and I am trying to use the calendar not the mail section.
Why can't I view my account info in my Windows Live email account @ https://account.live.com/? I click on "view account info" and get nothing but a blank page???
I just got a new hard drive and am reinstalling everything. I had Windows Live Mail 2011 but now have WLM 2012.
One of my e-mail addresses is a shared account with my husband. It is set up as a POP account. Before reinstalling it worked fine; we both had "Leave a copy of messages on server" checked in the Advanced tab, and it would download all the messages to each
of our Windows Live Mail programs on two different computers, and to mail on an iPad as well.
Now that I have reinstalled, whenever a message downloads to my computer (running Windows Live Mail 2012), it does not download to my husband's computer, even though it is still on the server. The same is true if it downloads to his computer first (running
Windows Mail). BOTH OF US HAVE "LEAVE A COPY OF MESSAGES ON SERVER" CHECKED. Since everything ran fine until I reinstalled WLM 2012, I have to assume the problem is with that.
The e-mail account is on GMail, and it is set up for POP (nothing has changed there since the reinstall).
Does anyone know how to fix things so that each of us can read all of the messages on the two different computers? Thanks.
Okay I'm sick of how this is getting handled! I've called support 3 times, and written twice and they sent me here. IN DETAIL this is how this **** happened! I wanted my XBOX live id to be connected to a different email address (the one on it was hacked),
for SOME reason when I added this address to my account it created a totally different one, that i didn't even care about. So I called support, this idiot told me in order to get the email FREE from that **** id, that I had to make it so it wasn't attached.
Here's how that went: -Made me create alias onto primary account. -Told me to make THAT alias (chibimiki) primary, and then DELETE the account for my primary email (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) -(WAS NOT AWARE EMAIL AND FOLDERS WERE GONE YET) - Told me to CLOSE account for
chibimiki. -Told me account was free to be put on another live id, and to sign in to make sure. Signed into *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (ACCOUNT DOES NOT EXIST is what I got in return) -Agent had to then get supervisor because he didn't know where he messed up. Supervisor
told me to contact HOTMAIL support. Contacted support, sent me BACK to XBOX. New xbox agent said other person had no idea what he was doing and told me to reactivate the account (chibimiki), was not able to recreate *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Had to add as an ALIAS to chibimiki
for it to come back. Told me to make Otakuchibishojo as primary again, got my CONTACTS back but ALL my folders and important emails are LOST. Tried to contact live support (chat box) said they should be able to help and to wait 24 hrs for a response. Got response,
told me they could fix it, and then for some reason closed my case and refused to help! Sent me here because they said a "Moderator" would be able to help better. All I know is because I was stupid enough to ask XBOX for help with something they ruined my
account. There were VERY important emails/documents in that account and I want them back! I've asked for help so many times that I'm sick of it. Is there actually someone who can help me here? Or do I need to just get a hold of some sort of supervisor for
outlook? Or do they just not care about their people? All I'm asking is can I get my stuff back? Because there HAS to be a way to get it back.

Can they be restored? How are they disappearing?

I have downloaded incoming mail on Windows Live Mail so I can transfer to a new Windows 7 computer now that my older Windows 7 computer has problem. How can I transfer the sent emails to the new computer. I have a new Seagate 1 TB Portable Drive.

When I try to reply to or forward an email from Windows Live Mail, or to create a new email, I receive an error msg:
A problem occurred while trying to open this message.
A problem has occurred. Please try again.
This has been going on for about 3 days, system restore didnt do anything.
In Windows Live Mail (Windows 7 Home reium) , in the Signature window, I've put in 4 different signatures and I like to pick different ones for different recipients.
There's the option of choosing one as the "default." Problem: After I designate one signature to be the default, it won't " stick" . The next email I send has a different signature attached. Frustrating! I've re-done this a number of times and it just won't "stick." Suggestions?

Hey there guys. Earlier on I was trying to access an old account to reset my password for another service. I have one email address that I only use for my old jewelry business and rarely checked it in a while. But then when I hopped over to the Hotmail
site to log in and proceed with the password reset, Hotmail gave me an error every time I attempted to log into the account.
I was using all the correct credentials and I even tried to reset the password on my Hotmail account but this also gave me an error message stating that the account was incorrect. This account was never really used as I said I only used it with my jewelry
business so it has been a good two years. Online chat just gave me a link for re identifying my account and password reset. When I informed her that neither worked she got frazzled and terminated the chat. I tried to set up a new email via MSN.com to get the
email name back and MSN told me that it was "reserved through hotmail or outlook" and I can not add it through outlook as I can not get the msn.com extension. I need help as I am applying for a job and the original password for this service expired so it sent
a email link to my old msn.com address that I can not access and I can not ask it to send it to a different address or even my other msn.com address.
So anyone got any idea on what is going on here? Or has anyone else experienced the same problems with disused accounts disappearing?
By the way this Hotmail account ended in " @msn.com " I don't know if that helps at all but that's all the information I can provide.
