Hello team Microsoft.

I have recently set up a windows live account and had synced it to send photos from the picture gallery. After 1 or 2 succeses, I now repeatedly receive this error. Please Help. (Error below)

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live.com account.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820

The program seems to start normally, then a pop up window appears saying "you are currently working off line.  Do you want to go online now?"  I click on the "yes" tab.  I have to do this twice, as the pop up window disappears and then reappears after I select "yes" the first time.  Then in the bottom right hand corner of my screen the notification shows me being on line.  As soon as I ask for "send/receive" on any or all of my eml accounts, it immediately kicks me off line again.  On one occasion the connection lasted long enough for messages to appear to be received, but I  am unable to open the messages (likewise unable to open messages that were in to inbox prior to this problem starting).  I tried sending a test eml but when I click on the "To" button I get the message that the program is "unable to find recipients" i.e., it can't find the contacts.   My other computer has no problem sending and receiving mails to these same accounts, and I have no problem surfing the net on either computer,  so I feel sure it is not my server causing the problem.  I have done many cold boots, and I have disabled my antivirus, but none of these actions have made a shred of difference.

I do get a couple junk mails a day. Been a problem for a few days. My Comcast and Webtv mail work good. I use Windows Live Mail. Thank you

hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me out. my mum's email account been hacked for the last 2 months. she has a very important email in her inbox which both me and my mum are trying to retrieve but its no use.  I have been trying to request a single use code for the last 2 days but we still haven't received any thing.

another problem is that my mums email account/profile is 13 years old and the information she entered at the time she made the account, is now forgotten. both me and her are trying to recover it but we cant. is there any way to contact the Microsoft/Hotmail team and query it as we have tried every other way and have failed.

thanks.

Hi. Can I install a search Bar into the Inbox of Windows Live mail.
about 8 months ago my microsoft account was either deactivated or hacked. recently ive been trying to regain access to it but i cannot remember any details linked with my account. All i could remember is my original password. I have many social media accounts linked to this hotmail and i do not want to lose them all. Is there any way you could give me my account back? this has been the most stressful week of my life. hotmail account that I am trying to recover is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I can receive but not send messages with Orange and I am getting the message below. I had problems last week and changed from port 25 to 587 and it worked ok for a few days. Please help

While typing an email the entire message disappears from the screen with the blank email message remaining on the screen. The email has not been sent, it simply vanishes. Usually I am able to retrieve the message using the "back" symbol. However, the continuous [also] problem with menus popping up sometimes prevents my recovering the message due to the pop-up menu blocking access to the back icon.

I have experienced this problem for several months since I purchased a Dell XPS 13 using Windows 7 w/ Office 2013. I exchanged my computer due to my dissatisfaction w/ Windows 8. My hands are not accidently hitting any keys.

Any suggestions?  This is very frustrating, both problems.
