Installing Windows Live Mail 2009 in Windows 8

I I use at work window 7 and window live mail 2012. recently purchased a laptop with window 8. decided to install windows live mail 2012 at work. on the official website of the MSN failed to download the version 2009. thought that automatically upgrade but it did not happen. What to do. Standard Mail program is not easy to use for me.

Windows Live Mail sign-in issue after 2-step verification

I have recently started using Microsoft 2-step verification for all my devices (Win 8.1 Toshiba PC, Asus PC, Android phone, and tablet). Everything went smoothly with the exception of Asus PC. The problem is WLM does not allow me to sign in. I also have Outlook mail app on Asus and it worked well. (I use both WLM and Outlook for my hotmail account as well as the gmail account.) I have tried resetting my password several times. tried the repair option, and I even deleted live mail and reinstalled it. I have even entered authentication codes to indicate that I used that PC frequently. The end result was WLM accepted neither the hotmail password nor the gmail password. The only difference between my Asus PC and Toshiba PC is that I use a local account to sign in Asus and a Microsoft account to sign in Toshiba. I have also tried the trusted PC option but I just could not execute Microsoft's instructions because, unlike Google's instructions for trusted PC, they were poorly written and I was not able to complete the process. (I prefer to use WLM because, compared to Outlook, it requires less mental energy.)

Any suggestions for further action will be highly appreciated.

I am trying to setup a Microsoft services account however when I enter my domain I get the following error.

This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language

Please help, I am a small business startup, I have just purchased the domain imafinancials.co.uk

We deal with clients in Debt and enable them to get out of debt by setting up manageable monthly payments. We also help with PPI payback and mortgage advice referral.

Can you please unlock my domain.

Need Activity Log..

I've closed my account while ago, and after more than 120 days I noticed I can't login my instagram account.. neither my closed email..

when I tried to recover it with my secret question, I successed to gain access to it again, stating "welcome back" although it should be already removed.. so maybe someone logged in and reactivated it in the last 120 days..

can I have an activity log of my account for past few months? logins, recovering or password resetting?

Everytime I try to log in to my email I get this: “That password is incorrect. Be sure you’re using the password for your Microsoft account.” I have to get a new password before I can check my emails.

Every time I try to log into my email I get this: "That password is incorrect. Be sure you're using the password for your Microsoft account." I have to get a new password before I can check my emails. I have already changed my password 5 or 6 times!! I am using the correct password! My son is having to do the same thing on his account. How can this be fixed?

Continuing Family Safety Issues

A short while ago I had a problem with Family Safety which was being worked on in the following discussion:-

I was told to come back at anytime if I had any further issues (which I now have) but the above discussion is closed for further updates.

IS it possible to get it re-opened? I now have a problem whereby Family Safety has stopped working altogether. My weekly activity report say "No activity" and if I login into Family Safety it says that there is not activity reported there also.

Re: Account is Blocked

Hi,

I am having trouble unblocked my account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I had entered in the password incorrectly once yesterday evening, after which it had asked me for it again in addition to verification of the letters in the box. This happened multiple times and finally it was blocked and required verification. I filled out the verification form and was emailed a password reset. Upon reseting the password, it did not work when signing in. I also tried another route of simply requesting a password reset. Again when I reset it, it also did not work when signing in. It only contributed to the problem I think and now I have exceeded my number of verification requests for the day.

I would like to know if someone is looking into this or if I have to wait another 24 hours for the account to be looked at again. I am putting in the right information everytime and I dont understand why this is happening.

Email Issues

Hi all,

I have an issue on my exchange server. All emails function correctly but when emails are send to the hotmail, msn, live domains, they fail.

The following error appears.

BAY0-MC4-F48.Bay0.hotmail.com
SC-002 (BAY0-MC4-F48) Unfortunately, messages from xxx.xxx.x.xxx weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/.

I checked with my isp and they are not blocking any ips and all the domains hotmail, msn, live are white listed .

After searching the error message SC-002 I found this:

“Emails rejected by Outlook for policy reasons. The email server IP connecting to Outlook has exhibited namespace mining behaviour. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your Email/Internet Service Provider for help.”

I would appreciate any help in resolving this error so the ip can be unblocked.

Delete old email account

I am helping a friend with her computer. She changed her ISP and we set up the new email account in Live Mail and got it working. I deleted her discontinued ISP account from Live Mail. Everything was just fine. Unfortunately, she did a restore to earlier date on her system and it brought back the old mail folders but not the account information in properties. Now when she opens Live Mail she gets a sign-in screen for the old ISP account and she has to cancel before she can continue with her mail. I have looked in the Accounts tab in Mail and there is nothing in there about the old account. Does anyone know how I can solve this? I am hoping that I don't have to go into to registry.
