Hello 

I setup a account using custom domain.

I have verified the email address and authenticated the DNS via TXT as requested however the MX records shows a .invlaid record which i have to entrée through my domain registrar as it means connecting to a remote mail box.

I can send email however I can not receive any email..

The email is not being blocked by junk or sender.

Can you please help?

So i have the same issue as most of the people here. Question is, did i set up the mx record correctly?

I used to use this account and just stated using as my main email. I'm sure there was a adress book or contact list but I cant find one anywhere. Please if some one can tell me where or how I am supposed to save others email.addresses. Thank you Liisa  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I changed my account alias in out look, now my work email doesn't work. Can someone at Microsoft change it back or do I have to wait a week to change it back like outlook is telling me.

También se sugiere que se seleccione una opción de PRIVACIDAD AVANZADA que restringe los contactos a los personales pero no soluciona el problema que planteo.

I use Outlook 2007 (non Exchange) and use it to manage my calendar and contacts (which i sync with my android phone without problem) and 4 different pop3 accounts which are filtered via rules into around a dozen different inbox folders. None of these are Microsoft email accounts. I have multiple accounts for the different companies I work with so cannot consolidate them into a single account. I use Pop3 because 2 of the 4 accounts have fairly strict server storage limits and also IMAP seemed to make a complete mess of outlook's interface creating entirely new personal folders for each one. I have spent years looking for a solution that would allow me to effectively take my desktop Outlook set-up with me on the move and more specifically:

1) Sync not just my calendar and contacts but all 4 of my email accounts with a cloud service so, when out and about, I can reference and search my historic desktop inbox and also get new email for all of the accounts much as i would with the Outlook 2007
2) Send emails through my four accounts without "on behalf of" or some other unprofessional looking addition
3) Sync all these remotely conducted incoming and outgoing emails back with the desktop when I return from being out and about
3) Sync any changes I make to calendars and contacts back with the desktop

I last investigated Outlook.com as a solution to this around a year ago and was given an unequivocal no. I also found no other mail service that would allow this without buying a dedicated Exchange server. It sounds like much has improved since then so...

Can Outlook.com now handle the above requirements?

If it can't do it as I describe above, is there an alternative approach e.g. using Outlook.com as the primary receiving app with Outlook 2007 some sort of syncing partner? I believe Gmail used to allow this but they now put this functionality behind a paywall.

I have just signed up with Outlook.com for the first time. I have tried adding two aliases. One is a personal domain address I own and that was OK. However, when I try to add my gmail address as an alias, it keeps telling me the email address is already taken. Why is it doing that and how do I get to add it as an alias?

Everytime I log on to my Outlook.com account, and go on some other Microsoft Site, like windows.microsoft.com or some other like these, I get automatically signed in(which is a great feature).

I have created a different alias from my personal one for all my newsletter subscribtions and everything. The problem is : I want to sign in through that account(my work account), and not from my personal home one for all the microsoft sites although I have signed in into outlook.com from my primary alias.

How do I do that?

I am very new to movie maker and I have just started a project to make a movie from my last holiday overseas but when I first started it by adding two files (of many) and editing them with fade in etc it seemed to save okay but when I added new files and editing and then went to save it again it looked like it was saving the whole thing all over again and seeing as I have a lot of files to add until I finish, this is going to take me ages, so my question would be how do I save the project on the run, can I just hit save and it will automatically save and update the original file.

Also when I have finished this project and I am ready to burn to disc what do I have to do to get it to burn and will it let me know how many discs I am supposed to use as I can imagine this will be very large by the time I have finished.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1
