repeated requests to re-enter password

my hotmail account was recently 'hacked', i had noticed that, despite careful entry of my password, i kept being asked to re-enter it as it was 'incorrect'. after a month or so the 'hacker' broke into my account. i have since changed my password but request to re-enter my new password, despite careful entry, have started again. what should i do?

My 2 daughters have a Microsoft Account each and each account has their correct date of birth entered (they are 6 and 11)

They have had these account for 6 and 11 years respectively.....approx

When I created them I was not given the option to link them to my account, when I log into the kids accounts I have no way of linking them to my account and I get the following message when I look in my account at Permissions > Kids Accounts > You have no child accounts.

Please could someone help me.

Their accounts are setup to work with Family Safety and everything is OK there but I would like them to be childrens accounts of my account

Set Outlook.com shared calendar as default

I have shared my Outlook.com calendar with my spouse, also having an Outlook.com email id, as co-owner. She is able to view & modify the calendar events, but they do not sync to her cellphone (Nokia Asha 310)

Microsoft Exchange Activesync for Nokia N8 not syncing Outlook.com Deleted & Draft folders

I recently setup EAS on my Nokia N8 running Belle Refresh to sync my Outlook.com mailbox to my cellphone. While the mails in the Inbox, Junk & Sent folders are visible on my phone, the Deleted & Draft contents do not sync. However, this is not the case with my spouse's Asha 310 - she has her entire Outlook.com mailbox syncing to her phone.

Are there any additional settings that need to be done by me?

I’d like to know how to the the writing on the right side of Outlook removed from my e-mail page. Not only does it take up too much space, but it is extremely irritating. Any suggestions?

Open and edit text files

I am experiencing this problem using Enhanced Protected Mode in IE11 on W7:

  1. Sign in to SkyDrive
  2. Locate a text file (*.txt) and select it.
    The page loads, but the text file doesn't open. SkyDrive shows a 'wait' animation of flying dots at the top of the window.
  3. Add https://skydrive.live.com to Trusted sites
    The page loads and the text file opens for editing.

When SkyDrive is loaded in the Internet zone, some functionality is blocked, presumably by EPM. When it is loaded in the Trusted zone, the functionality returns.

The Trusted sites option is not attractive. It would mean having to add other sites, like https://login.live.com, to Trusted sites simply to be able to sign in to SkyDrive. Then every other site using login.live.com for authentication would also have to be trusted.


Is there an Internet security setting I can change to allow text files on SkyDrive to be opened and edited in the browser?
