Question about Outlook Express

I log in once every 7-10 days with my Hotmail address.  Each time Hotmail/outlook requires a verification code.  I enter it, then the next screen makes me log in all over again.

When I type my first email and click send, this is what I get:

"Please sign in again. To help protect your personal information, we periodically sign you out (for example, after 24 hours or when you sign in to a different account). "

I try saving my email to a draft, but it will not save.  I log out and resign in. I'm not asked for the code at this point.  Now my email  must be rewritten, as it is gone.  
If I log out and go back in throughout the day, I'm not asked for my code.   It will happen all over again on another day .

It happens on IE 10  and FF 24.0.

I use windows 7 on my Dell desktop computer.

Recently removed Kaspersky and installed AVG 2013, BUT this problem has been going on since you folks switched to calling hotmail "Outlook.”

Ideas?   -HOW to stop having this occur???   Thx U

I have set up a Microsoft Outlook account but the system is not allowing me to validate the account or sign in.  I have an email from member services asking me to validate the account by signing in - however when I click on "sign in" , all that happens is that I am returned to the Inbox page!  I should be grateful to receive simple instructions on how to sign in/validate my new account? PS. I would add that my husband set up an account for himself at the same time and was able to validate and use his account simply.

My primary email address is: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I also have an outlook account that uses the same email address as my primary account @msn.com

I'm thinking of dropping or letting my msn account expire since I'm having so many problems like not letting me send pdf's or removing pdf's from emails I receive. MSN solution center is of no help at all. 

My question is do I add an alias to outlook as a primary account when I'm done with msn.

such as:  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
