I've been trying to migrate my old emails to Outlook.com from my old MS Outlook 2013 pst file. One would expect that this would be a fairly simple process, but it's fair to say that it is incredibly difficult. To make matters more confusing, neither Outlook 2013, nor 2010 appears to be syncing correctly with Outlook.com. We are halfway through emailing all our old contacts to advise them of the change in our email address, and suddenly we've been locked out of our account with a message that MS thinks it may have been hacked. It's highly unlikely it's been hacked - it's just me trying to get Outlook to work properly. I was able to get a code to reactivate the account, but then the system wants me to change my password. I don't want to change my password as it's used in lots of places and for logging in to each of my Windows 8 computers. I specifically chose the option to not make me change my password every 72 days.. How can I have my account re-activated without having to change my password?
Thanks

This error only seems to be happening for one user as we have another hotmail/outlook.com email working on the same machine.
Some Additional info:
Windows 7 Pro
Outlook 2010
Using separate user profiles/Log ons on the same machine
Can access the account with the issue online via outlook.com
I have recreated the user account/log in/profile on the computer and re-connected to the email account in outlook and still have the same issue.
NO, there are no exchange accounts in outlook at all.
Any other suggestions?

Regards,
I have recently have had to log in my hotmail.co.uk account to recover a lost password. When I go to to log in to my account it says it does not exist. I believe that it has been deactivated due to long term disuse. I went to reopen another account under the same name, however hotmail.co.uk is no longer available. Please help.
