I am an instructor at a community college. I gave my students an assignment to get a SkyDrive account using their school email so they can share Office documents on their projects.
Some students are unable to create a SkyDrive account and receive the 450 Error. They have been trying since Monday (48 hours ago) and have used different computers (home and school) and different locations (home and school).
I have a personal SkyDrive accout and today I attempted to create a SkyDrive account with my school's email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). It also failed with the 450 error.
The forums say to wait 24 hours and try again and then wait again and try again, and then contact you. I am now contacting you for assistance.
Thanks,
Grey Axtell
Is there an issue with the radio button on Outlook, not able to check on the box to highlight the email for deletion.
Advise please.
Hello all. Yesterday, I decided to change what my primary Outlook alias was. The one I had originally set my account up with was kinda dumb and I had been using another alias for signing into my email and setting up accounts. I decided it was time to make the full migration to my prefered alias, by setting it as my primary one.
I went into my account settings and changed my alias. I confirmed it and then tried using Outlook.com on my PC. I got an error, saying it couldn't connect. I figured it needed some time to set up. Well, 30 minutes later, it's still not working and I had some emails I really needed to send, so I went into my account settings and changed it back to my original alias, hoping this would fix the problem.
Well, 24 hours later, and Outlook.com still won't work, neither will the built in email client on my Lumia 1020 sync. Also ever since this incident started, the SkyDrive desktop app on my Windows 7 PC will crash as soon as it starts, and won't sync my stuff.
All my other Microsoft stuff that I use this account to sign into works perfectly fine, expect of course for the aforementioned problems, obviously. I'd like to know how what should've been a routine procedure managed to effectively kill my email, which in today's modern world is crippling.
I'd like some advice on how to fix this. I already chatted with Microsoft Support, and they directed me here. I'm desperate, desperate enough to switch back to Gmail. I may like Outlook, but who cares if it doesn't work?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Before you ask, I must stress that ONLY the following DON'T work: email (online, phone, any other application. All of my email is effectively dead), and the SkyDrive PC application for Windows 7 (online and my phone still work).
Thank you kindly, much appreciated. My whole life is being crippled by lack of email, so the quickest solution possible is essential. Thanks again. (typed 100% on my phone, so apologies for any typos or awkward errors).
