"File Upload - You don't have permission to open this file. Contact the file owner or administrator to obtain permission."
I'm trying to attach a small Excel file to an email that I want to send through my Outlook.com account. When I try to do the attachment, I get the error shown above when going through Firefox browser. I am the file owner and also the administrator.
When using Internet Explorer, I get this error "Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notigy you if a solution is available. Close program." Nothing can be done but to Close program, which then restarts going back to the same email that I was trying to make the attachment to.
I am using Windows 8 and have attached countless files to Outlook.com in the past, using my current setup. This problem just started in the last couple of days.
Any suggestions?
What the website looks like doesn't concern me, and the fact that it's difficult to navigate also doesn't truly concern me.
What concerns me is this:
All previous emails from my hotmail account have disappeared without a trace.
No new emails have arrived.
While my inbox will never be cleaner, an email service that neither sends nor receives email is pretty worthless.
Looking at the other questions here, it seems that the change was enacted months ago, and yet Microsoft still hasn't gotten around to transferring all the old email information.
Call me crazy, but it seems to me that something is broken here. Like "Windows 8 style" broken (sorry, that was low).
I'm going to give Outlook one more week, and after that they lose me.
I have an account in live domain (guiadomacom.com.br) and one of my email account forgot his account. How can I reset password of accounts?
