Trying to limit so many ads I tried to upgrade settings. I accidently changed my date of birth in my personal info to 2013 instead of my real date of birth for my account I've had for many years. I was blocked and had to invent another account, pay 50
cents for Hotmail/Microsoft to check that I (in my "parent's account") am an adult. I am now back into my own account with my "parent's permission". I cannot go in a change my date of birth to get rid of the parental permission issue. What can I do?
I have some people (Contacts) blocked in skype/msn (because the old MSN Live), i tried to go in Outlook / People / Manger / Limit Access, but the list is empty, how i unblock all theses peoples?

So I've just finished updating my Windows to Windows 8.1, the installation went smoothly but now there is a problem, which is the Skydrive folder (that is located in in my users folder) won't synchronize with the following error " Error: We can't connect
to your SkyDrive because the path of a file or folder is too long "... I only have access to the files that were already in there before the update, but it won't synchronize with new ones.
Before the update everything was working fine and synchronizing fine, there was absolutely no problem with long folder or file's path, now after the upgrade there is suddenly a problem???
I can't change the folder structure now, it's too late as I've several machines (Windows 7) with the same structure and it would be a mess If I changed it.
How can I correct this issue?

I have configured domains.live.com for a domain with existing email. Therefore I need it to be setup in the admin interface so I can create the Outlook.com email boxes before changing the MX records over.
Consequently I've updated the DNS with the alternative methods to prove ownership:
- Created TXT record
- Created low priority invalid MX record
However the admin interface still says:
'You need to prove ownership of this domain by creating a DNS record. Use the settings below.'
Do the alternative proof of ownership methods work?

I too cannot receive any emails - not even junk. Called microsoft and they were no help. I have tried suggestions offered by community and like others - my settings were all correct. Am losing patience after spending nearly an hour on phone with microsoft
and being switched to 3 different departments - to finally be told they can't help me but to try support.microsoft.com So I tried that and can't get live chat and have ended up here - Please help
Since upgrading to outlook.com all of my emails from my hotmail account have been deleted. Is it possible to retrieve the emails somehow?

I can send e-mails, but I am not receiving any e-mails. Same thing happening for the same .msn account on my smart phone. Just started happening today. I have cleared cache, made certain I am not forwarding e-mails, tried sending myself an e-mail.
Nothing works.
