skydrive is constantly trying to sign in

Skydrive no longer updates  my files within the skydrive folder,

the cloud icon at the bottom of the page keeps trying to sign in but never actually does.

i have tried uninstalling and then re-installing skydrive countless times, this is the only way i can get skydrive to update as when i first install it and then log in, skydrive updates, however after that it stops working again altogether.

any help would be much apprechiated

Trying was unsuccessful.

P.S. I have never registered in office365 & my mail don't ending with .edu

Existing hotmail won’t work with Outlook 365

I have a long standing Hotmail account that works fine on all my on the other computers and am trying Office 365 on a new Windows 8.1 touchscreen laptop.

I have tried all the method for adding Hotmail from the internet IMAP, POP, and then Microsoft Exchange.

Now I am stuck on Microsoft Exchange not being recognized for my m.hotmail.com account and outlook closes.

I have removed the data in the hidden files for outlook accounts, but they keep appearing and outlook won't run.

Two Questions: How do I get back into outlook and what are the correct Hotmail settings?

When I used to start my computer and hit internet explorer, it would go directly to microsoft outlook. Now it doesnt. How can I get it back?

Missing Emails since yesterday

Scan to email on my copier to outlook.com used to work 2 days ago. Now it sometimes goes to my Junk folder or it does not show up at all. This is randomly effecting all users in the organization. Sometimes it shows in the inbox, junk folder, or disappears. I have instructed the users to add the sender's address as a contact, as well as the sender's domain and email address to the safe list but the problem still exist. I thought adding to the safe list is like white listing and guarantees a successful delivery regardless of content. Can someone verify where the email is going and how do I prevent this? The email contains only the subject and scan document. Again, it's been working fine since we switched our mail to outlook.com until 2 days ago.

You can use a PC running Windows 8.1 to fetch files that are on another PC, but you can't fetch files that are on a PC running Windows 8.1, even if you install the SkyDrive desktop app on that PC.


Why not? Worked just fine under Windows 8.

Password reset for users in domain

I would like to be able to reset the passwords for my domain members. I understand that this is available for domains, but it must be requested for. If you need the domain address, is there a private way to tell you the domain? Thanks.

I'm setting up a new Windows Live domain and wanted to create a new live account for it.
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

The birthdate got put in incorrectly and now I can't continue until I associate it with a parent's account.
I also can't start over as it says the live account is already created.

Can this please be reset?

I can provide any verification needed for the account.

how do i stop outlook automatically adding contacts to iphone

Newbie at all this but all my contacts were added to my iphone - i don't want any more contacts to be added automatically (didn't want most of the ones that went over either!) how can i stop this happening? thanks
