I have approximately 2,000 image files on Skydrive.  After updating to Windows 8.1 this afternoon,  Skydrive began to duplicate every file in my Skydrive folder, appending it with the name of my computer.  For example, in addition to the original file named IMG001.jpg which was uploaded a year ago, I also have a copy of it named IMG001-WIN8.jpg on both Skydrive and my PC   The vast majority are photographs that have NOT been edited or changed in any way.  I also have on a laptop which has not been updated to 8.1 yet.  I'm afraid to, lest I get a third set of copies with the LAPTOP label.

- Is there a reason why this is happening?

- How can it be prevented in the future?

- If I delete the duplicates from Skydrive and/or my PC will they just keep coming back?

I have been switched from Hotmail to Outlook recently and no longer get the menu bar.  I use Google Chrome as my browser.  I am unable to forward, reply, or delete mail in Hotmail.  Occasionally, when I highlight the email subject, I get a pop-up which lists reply and forward but trying to forward never succeeds .  In Forward, I get to write a message above the document being forwarded but can never send it since no "send" box ever appears.  Can you help me?

why am i unable to receive any emails now? i have already checked my settings regarding spam and junk but there still seems to have no change? i am still able to send emails. and on a related note. i also cant seem to view any emails i have on my microsoft outlook and my email app on my tablet? are these problems related to one another?
I can't access my outlook account it always shows 'there is a problem with outlook, try again later' but I have a week waiting and it doesn't seem to be fixed any sooner, i need to check my emails! It doesn't work on any OS or browser.
I have one user that when they print a message in Outlook 2013 it says that it has encountered a problem and it must restart. The message will sometimes go to the printer while Outlook is restarting. No other issues in any other Office 2013 apps occur while printing. They can also print any attachment in outlook with no problems. I ran through all of the steps in "How to troubleshoot crashes in Outlook 2010 and 2013" and I'm at the last stage that says to call for support. Thought I would try here first. In both the generated report and in the Windows 7 event log under Application, it shows Event ID 1000 and Faulting Application is outlook.exe, Faulting Module is ntdll.dll ver. 6.1.7601.18247, Exception Code is 0xc0000374. Tried new user Outlook profile, new Windows profile, literally every troubleshooting step in the article (Article 2632425) and the error persists. Even tried logging on as another user and setup an Outlook account from scratch - same issue. I just setup 9 brand new identical PCs with Office 2013 and this is the only user with this issue. The only thing I can think of now is maybe it's an issue with her Cannon MFP scanner and the software it uses (she's the only one with this setup). The printer installs an app called ToolBox that then installs PageMaker. I'm wondering if there is a possible conflict there. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
When I try to send/receive emails using Firefox on desktop. The Dialogue Box just keeps running.  Using Windows 8 loaded with files from Win 7 Last week. No problem on my laptop.
Beginning last night, I have not been able to receive e-mails. However, I can send e-mails to other accounts. I've checked my settings and my junk mail to no avail.
Help, I am getting We're updating your inbox, Please try again later for hours now. what can I do?
I'm using a Mac and my normal browser is safari. I've also tried to sign into my outlook account (outlook.com) via Chrome and It has the same result. I've also tried computers that aren't Mac's. Just to be clear, regardless of the computer or browser I can't send or receive emails but all past emails/info, regardless of the folder or location are completely accessible. This is only a new in coming/out going  email issue that has been noticed since Oct. 18, 2013.  How can i fix this!
