How to use the auto shrink option when trying to upload a picture?

I am using the IE of whindows7 home edition to upload pictures onto my skydrive account. 

There used to be optional check box to upload pictures in the original size or auto shrink size. 

But now I can't see the check box anymore and It forces me to upload my pictures in original size which is not good for me at the moment.

just wondering anyone could help find the way to use the auto shrink option? That would be much helpful. Thanks in advance.

I can’t open the PEOPLE page, it just hangs & does not open

I can open OUTLOOK but when I click on PEOPLE the page does not open so I can not see my contacts under the PEOPLE page.

Outlook IMAP Error 9

Thunderbird keeps saying either connection timed out or the server responded Error 9, Server Error.

I just installed Thunderbird.  It took two days for my Inbox to display any messages in it.  Now finally it displays all my messages and I can open the latest 800 or so, but not the older ones.  I tried to move the latest 800 into another folder, and they disappeared from my Thunderbird Inbox, but didn't reappear in the folder that I moved them to.  Using Outlook webmail, I can see they are still in the Inbox.

And when I try to acces Outlook webmail while Thunderbird is running, I get an Error Signing In page.

I have about 8000 emails in my Inbox.  I tried marking them all as Unread using webmail, but it stops and the page says there's been a server error.  If I repeated the process, then more emails would be marked as unread, but eventually, I can't get more than 6900 marked now.

This has been going on for days and Thunderbird can't even receive new emails.  I don't think it can even log in.  And then when it fails to log in, I can't even log in using webmail.

I got reply from Carlo_c as necessary steps has been taken and I can add this domain, and yes it worked, Thanks Carlo.

But now when i try to enable my domain to use outlook by entering MX records it is still not able to verify the domain. Now it almost 5 days that I did changes in my MX records.  My MX records are already updated, I have checked with MXtoolbox.com 


Could you please let me know where should I contact for domain approval ?

My Domain is : kunthalgiri.com

Hi

 

I am getting this problem since last 3-4 hours. I have tried all the browsers on my PC (FireFox, IE) as well as tried accessing my account from different machines but the results are the same.

 

I have also tried clearing my IE cache.

 

Strange thing is that all other accounts on hotmail work ok, both from my laptop and other machines

 

Can someone please help urgently?

Can’t access inbox – HELP

When I log in my email account I can't get access to my emails. 

I get message

Sorry there seems to be a problem with outlook at this moment. 
If you continue to have a problem please report this to Microsoft. 

It's getting frustrating as this has been ongoing for over 7 hours now and trying to actually speak to someone over the telephone about the issue is difficult as I get past from pillar to post and the live chat hasn't been much help

I have problems accessing my actually inbox, contacts, sent items etc no matter what I use PC desktop or my mobile phone. 

How can I delete files on my HDD without deleting them in skydrive

I have a great number of files and photos on my skydrive that I do not want on my HDD.

When I went to the Windows 8.1 preview - it copied al my files to my HDD.

I now have the Windows 8.1 release and need to know how I can

1. Sync only the folders and files I want to be synced.

2. Unsync the files and folders that I want to be only on the skydrive online.
    I do not need ofline access to these files and folders.

I have a smallish HDD and cannot afford to have my whole skydrive synced in its entirety to it.


Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Error message when trying to set up Yahoo Mail account in Outlook.com

Hi,

I've been asked by a Forum Moderator to create a new topic about this issue. I previously wrote about it in this thread and gave extra details about the accounts and settings i used via private message to moderators.

I have an Outlook.com account since a few days ago and I tried to add my Yahoo Mail Plus account to it. I get the error message "Check your email address and password, but the problem may be that Yahoo! requires you to subscribe to Yahoo! Mail Plus." no matter what settings and details I use.

Additional information:
1. I can get my Yahoo Mail e-mails on a laptop running Windows 7 in the Windows Live Mail desktop app AND on a tablet running Windows 8.1 in the Mail app. Everythings syncs and I'm happy with them. Can't get it to work only in Outlook.com. I've set up the laptop and tablet this week also. Until now I was only using the browser version of Yahoo Mail but this week I decided to move everything to Outlook/Microsoft.
2. My Outlook.com username (before the @outlook.com) is different from my Yahoo Mail username. Some users mentioned this might be the problem. It isn't.
3. I tried with a primary alias @live.com, @outlook.com, @hotmail.com for my Outlook.com account. Didn't solve the problem.
4. I tried with the standard settings which autocomplete in outlook.com when you try to add an account (pop.mail.yahoo, smtp.mail.yahoo) but also with other settings which work elsewhere (plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com and plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com which work for Windows Live Mail on a Windows 7 laptop and winmetro.pop.mail.yahoo.com - which works in the Mail app of Windows 8 on a tablet). 
5. Tried in IE and Chrome.
6. I don't think this matters to my issue but it's some information Microsoft should consider: Last week, Yahoo Mail made some changes to its accounts and now everyone has free POP access, even if they don't pay for the Plus account. In fact there's no "Plus" account anymore. You can either have a Yahoo Mail account (with free POP access) or a Yahoo Ad-free account for some $$$. So alerts in Windows Live Mail and any other support info about needing to have a Plus account should disappear.

Issues with Outlook.com and Facebook chat status

Hello all,

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction with this, I seem to be having some problems with my chat status updating when using my connected Facebook account.

Lets start with Facebook and Outlook.com chat set to 'offline'/'invisible'.  If I then set my chat status in Outlook.com to to 'available' (with Facebook chat on) this works fine, the status in both Outlook.com and Facebook is set to 'available'  However if I then set the status of 'Facebook chat' to 'off' or my 'availability' to 'invisible' via Outlook.com this status is not reflected in the Facebook chat at Facebook.com, even though it sets correctly on Outlook.com.

Surely if I set my Facebook 'availability' to offline at Outlook.com this status should also be reflected at Facebook.com?

Any pointers?

Unable to access email account

Every time I try to get onto my email account I get a screen showing the problem below.  I have tested the status and everything is working correctly.  I have also reset my password, but that hasn't worked either.  Please help!!
