Is there a reason why that many of the contact fields do NOT match between Outlook 2013 and People (Outlook.com)? It is therefore impossible to keep a properly synced contact list in this case between the two. For example, People does not even have a categories field! They do not sync, while you make a any kind of edit in People it removes that category all together for that contact in Outlook 2013 after syncing! Also, the phone number fields don't match. And it doesn't handle pictures, even though it has blank a picture icon. There's more, but you get the idea. Why would they set it up for failure like this! Does anybody know when this will be corrected?
I know they added groups recently, but, that doesn't help either because it won't sync with anything(any other device) anyway!
Please help! I would love any input on this matter.....

- I will be having a local copy of all the emails in one location.
- Emails will be downloaded once, and in case adding or replacing a new PC, there will be no need to download all emails again, hence reducing bandwidth usage both on user end and email server end.
I bring up the SkyDrive RT app, go to SkyDrive Camera Roll, select some photos, and touch Delete. I get a prompt saying "You are about to delete 3 items.". I tap the Delete button on that confirmation message. I see "Recycling..." in the upper right corner of the screen, and it just stays there. Sometimes it will change to "3 items could not be recycled.". So it didn't seem to e working. Then, I tried tapping on the message saying "Recycling" or "You are about to delete 3 items", and it went to another page that had several "N items could not be recycled" boxes on it. When I tapped one, I got *another* confirmation box, "Are you sure you want to send these items to the recycle bin?", and when I clicked OK, the files were actually deleted.
UPDATE: I get this same behavior with all SkyDrive files, not just camera roll photos.
Is this the user interface you were going for? Because it is rather painful.
Thanks,
Eric
I have updated to 8.1 today and ended up with a problem I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with:
I currently have 100gb of skydrive storage with all of my family's files on. All my family log into their own computers, and their skydrive is logged into my account, syncing selected folders for each member of family. My work around on windows 8 has been to log in to local accounts, not Microsoft accounts.
Windows 8.1 demands that each user have an individual Microsoft account so I am unable to use local accounts any more. My family are now unable to access their folders on my skydrive.
Is there any way that I can allow more than one user to access the same set of folders in the way I have been doing?
The inability to keep all my family files backed up across several devices is a real pain. I suspect microsoft haven't anticipated this problem with new integrations.
Many thanks in advance for any support,
Joe
Hi,
I am not receiving emails from bestbuy.com.
This has been going on for over a year.
I do not receive order confirmations, password resets, promotions, and etc.
BestBuy could not resolve this problem, and they seem to think that it is Hotmail/ outlooks problem.
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem ?
BTW I cleared out my entire blocked senders list, so I have nothing being blocked.
