I've been trying, and failing to get a hacked account closed for over a week now and it's driving me nuts.

About 2 weeks ago I got some emails from dating sites I'd never heard of, i assumed it was junk mail that'd just got missed, but the emails kept coming in over a period of days, and were in my name. I changed my password multiple times but it kept happening, on the last occasion literally 5 minutes after signing into my account the dating site confirmation emails started again (I even contacted one of them I did recognize just check and the email definitely was used for registering and activating the account)

So I've changed emails now and have been having all sorts of headaches trying to get MS to close down the hacked account. First there were 30MS points on there, had to be sent to a special team to get rid of. Now I'm being told I need to deactivate.

The issue is that someone/thing keeps going into the account, so even if i press to deactivate the hacker/bot could just sign into it tomorrow and the account becomes active again, i can't guarantee the account won't be logged into by the hackers, and it's not like the deactivation time is a few days, it's a calender year.

I've talked to 3 people on chat support and all of them, no matter what i said, lead me to account deactivation and completely ignored the issue of the hacker singing in, 2 of them ended the chat in the middle of me responding,

I'm not closing the account out of choice, it can't be used anymore, this isn't like Facebook deactivation where you have some say in the matter, this is me trying to close down and account because it's hacked and unusable, and I feel I'm getting no sense of understanding that just deactivating it isn't enough.

I was told to post here so a professional would get in touch so that's what I'm doing.

Not via the survey, and for some reason when I ask for a text/call to verify my ownership of the account I get nothing. It says Text *********11 and my number ends in 11 and none of my previous numbers did, so I'm pretty sure its the right number but I'm not ever being sent texts and I have been trying for months, what can I do to get access to my email account again I am in desperate need for it as it is associated with all my other accounts for various social media sites etc.

I have read the posts from people who are having the same issues as I am having and my folders and old emails are not coming into this new account.  Furthermore, I no longer am receiving emails into this account.  I need help to determine where my folders and emails are going.  When I click on the outlook tab, I do not get an option for "mail".  I only get "Outlook.com" which holds 2 emails from your outlook team and no other info.  I need this resolved NOW!!!  Am I shouting, yes.  Reply with step by step procedures on how to get my stuff back and restore the receipt of emails coming into my account.  I spend much of yesterday changing email notifications to a gmail account because I don't have confidence that I will receive it through my hotmail address.
Is anyone else getting this message today?


My sky drive is loading apparently 214.4MB of files 162.4 loaded and 29 files remaining how do i stop this as i do not know what it is. It is slowing my PC to a halt almost?
Hi, my account has been disabled and when i try to recover it, it asks for the information i used to set up the account nearly 6 years ago!! obviously i cannot remember the information and really need to get back into my emails. My insurance company has told me that they sent me an email on the 10/08/2013 at 22:27 (uk time).

Due to the unique way outlook is setup, instead of not showing me junk mail, they still display it. Unfortunately for me it doesn't look like i can go back and check if i received an email at that date/time as they get auto deleted.

Is there a way that I can check or get M/S to check if an email came through around that time on that day?

P.s. I can't believe the poor level of M/S C/S on their live chat. This doesn't seem like a hard question to answer.

i have already cleared cashe/ cookies etc
i have tried loging in from different computers and i have the same problem
