Ok, really? I can NOT sign onto a couple of my required computers with the Microsoft Account. One of them is local user only (my home computer) and another is inside a corporate domain. Until today, when I upgraded to 8.1 (without realizing how skydrive would disappear - stupid me to think it would work the same) this worked fine. My skydrive folders worked great between machines. So, I can't be alone in the world on this. I have no problem with having to sign into skydrive file explorer with a Microsoft account, that seems fair. But it is pretty stupid to expect me to even be able to sign into the PC with a Microsoft account.
Therefore, how long until this is resolved by Microsoft and I can sign into skydrive CLIENT version (or app or whatever) with the skydrive login and sign onto the PC with my normal login?
I finally have my mail set up so that my 1&1 mail is being handled by domains.live.com/outlook.com, however recipients receive my email as "From hotmail_...@live.com on behalf...".
I can't figure out how to change this.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Regards
Tom

Any time I try to take any action such as open or delete, the Outlook application freezes. To try to resolve this, I have deleted my history, temporary internet files and website files, and cookies and website data. I have restarted my computer. This problem started about October 17, 2013, and has been continuous these past 5 days. I have two other Hotmail accounts, and they are working without problem.
For the past 2 weeks or more I've tried to figure out why my boss's calendar appointments were showing up with the wrong time. Everything was 1 or 2 hours off.
I just looked at Outlook.com and noticed that it had been set to Pacific Time (we are on Central Time). So I changed that, but all appointments are still showing the old time. How can I get all of the appointment to change to the correct time without having to change each one manually?
