Hi,

My account has been switched over to outlook from hotmail. And all my emails got disappeared.

Please help to restore my emails.

Regards,
Yan
Large numbers of my emails keep being 'automatically' deleted from my inbox.  I either find them in my deleted items folder or they vanish completely.  I am not deleting them.  My faith in outlook is being seriously tested as many of these are very important work and personal emails.  Most recent to vanish are all emails received from 2 Aug to 12 Sep13 and 14 Sep to 8 Oct 13. Please help!
I set up 2 Outlook.com email accounts.  I want to eliminate one account and use its name as an alias on the remaining account.  How long do I have to wait before using the name as an alias?  Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Keith

OneNote 2010 just started syncing to the wrong skydrive account.  My previous notebooks would no longer sync so I closed and tried to re-open.  It turns out it could not because it was now linked to a different account (a new one recently setup for a different business).  It now, will only link to notebooks under that account.

I've tried unlinking sydrive from the system tray, and relinking.  SkyDrive itself shows the correct account, but OneNote still does not.

I've tried opening the Notebooks from IE into OneNote, nope.

I've clicked (Not XXXX?) on the Open Notebook page and it does nothing but refresh with the same, wrong, account.

How do I detach OneNote from the wrong account?

I used to be able to have both my email addresses listed on a drop down screen and I could sign in with either one quickly and efficiently. However all was changed a few months ago and now I have to sign out of one before I can sign into the other. It is very frustrating and time consuming. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this without going to another provider
I tried to close one of my Microsoft accounts today because I no longer need it. Every time I try to close it I get this message, "You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account." The thing is that I have already switched these paid services to the other Microsoft account that I wish to keep, so I have no idea why it is doing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I write emails for a living.  I want to send email A:

Hi Joe

Want to buy my product.  Call me.

Steve

To Joe and then quickly send the same email to Jim:

Hi Jim

Want to buy my product.  Call me.

Steve

But if I forward the email I sent to Joe to Jim by forwarding Jim Joe's message and then changing superficial details, Jim gets Joe's message attached at the bottom of my email to him.

This absolutely stupid and Gmail and other services don't do that.  No one wants to have this.  There is no easy way to change it and it actually looks like only Jim is getting the forwarded email.  But then I just got an email from Jim just now asking me why I sent the same email to Joe.

I am switching back to Gmail

In Windows 8.1 Preview, my Skydrive folder would not sync to the cloud and remained only on my local computer. I was hoping that the full Windows 8.1 would fix that. I now installed Windows 8.1. It not only doesn't sync Skydrive, it no longer shows up in File Manager. The folder does exist under Users\My computer but it doesn't appear to be seen. Any suggestions?

I have my last name incorporated in my email address. I recently got married and want to change my email address to reflect my new last name. Can I change my email address? And, can I still access Hotmail.com w/o any confusion?

Since last Windows update I've been unable to synchronize my Outlook 2010 with my Hotmail.

It tells me to update Outlook connector, which I have already done (6123.5001).

When I try the update routine in Outlook through the file menu - nothing happens.

I've tried to run as administrator, and the uninstall-install of connector.

I am running system 8 PRO
