my hotmail.com account seems to have been closed in the last couple of days.  I have had this account for years and did NOT close it.  Please advise on how to reactivate this account

Today I signed into my sky Drive web account (which is unusual for me since I usually access my documents through OneNote locally) and I clicked on the Shared tab. I was interested in sharing some files with co-workers and wanted to test out that feature. To my surprise, there were several (8 total) items shared with me by users I don't know. These were unsolicited, and I did not receive any invitations via email (nor did I accept any) to view these items. These are highly suspicious links, since each one is created by an "unknown" user and shows only a picture of a scantily dressed woman. (see screenshot below) I am very concerned about these links as I am afraid that they contain malicious code/viruses/malware/etc. I am afraid to even click on them to delete them, since I am concerned that in any way interacting with them might cause their contents to sync locally to my computer. Please help me answer the following questions:
1) how did these albums come to be shared with me? did someone just spam my email address?
2) if these were sent by a spam-bot, why do they appear in my shared tab without any action on my part?
3) how do I get rid of them without risking infecting my computer with the contents of the shared albums?
4) is there any security risk to my computer currently, having only browsed to the shared tab page and not clicked on any of the "shared albums"?
5) how do I prevent this from happening again?

please note, the "shared by me" album "lab notebook" is mine. The others are the suspicious ones.




Hi there

I am unable to receive any incoming mail from a clients business email account. The email doesn't go to Spam, or to Junk, it simply doesn't arrive. 

This is also the case with several of my colleagues who all use Hotmail accounts, and appears to have started since the switch to Outlook.com. 

The mail server of the company sending it is mail.propaganda.co.uk (It's an in house server, I spoke to their IT guy, who is willing to help if needed with further detail)

I have checked with them, and they are able to send successfully to my gmail account, and several other accounts around the office, it is just Hotmail that it never arrives at. 

We have checked the domain and there is an active SPF record. 

Any ideas to resolve this please?

Mac mail isn't deleting messages, just marking as read.  I have tried defining the folder 'Deleted' and it still isn't working. 
I tried to get into my hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and was given the message that my account is blocked due to suspicion of hacking.  I have tried several times to reset my account, but I have only received one response from Microsoft telling me I didn't provide enough verification information - no responses the rest of the time.  Can anyone help me?
I need this account because this is the webmail for my band and the only contact audience and label have!

I want to clean the auto-complete list appearing below "Search in e-mail" box on the left-top corner of the main page of Outlook.com when I enter a letter. Is here any option to achieve this? That list contains exactly all e-mail addresses that sent at least one e-mail or whom I sent at least once even though I have recently cleaned all of my e-mail boxes. 

If you cannot understand what I'm talking about, let me put a screenshot taken from Turkish edition I'm using.

I can't send or receive emails on my windows live plus outlook account. This account is paid for and it's my work account.  HELP IMMEDIATELY.  There is no support contact or phone number.  What?

I have two accounts with hotmail/ outlook; the first being *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and the second being *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. When I try to sign into the second email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), a message appears to say that the account does not exist, when in fact I have used this email address regularly and have not deleted or deactivated this account (I may have changed or removed an alias from another account). This has happened for over 3 months! I then created a new account with the same name thinking that it may recover all my previous emails but it didn't! I was just wondering if it would be possible to retrieve this account as I use it regularly.

How do I go about setting up email alias such as postmaster and abuse and assign them to a particular user? For example, if someone sends an email to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, the mail gets redirected to a particular user (without having to setup a separate email account for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***)?

Also, is there a function to enable to create a catch-all address for delivering messages addressed to non-existent recipients?

Lastly, any advice on setting up email authentication (DKIM) on my DNS records?
