I have a fresh install of Outlook 2013 on Surface Pro and was able to add my Hotmail.com account.  Outlook starts to download mail in the inbox and then it will all disappear.  After a while it will either resume downloading mail or totally clear out the mailbox.  I let it run for about an hour and it finally filled the inbox, but when I checked a folder it was empty.  I went back to the inbox and it was empty again too.

This is a Hotmail account that I have had for many years and there is mail in the account.  do I just need to let it run overnight?

How soon before I can use Outlook to send/receive email on that account?

I was beta customers back then, so I still have the 25GB free space.  Now if I create a new alias and then switch to use the new alias as the default alias, will I loose the 25GB free storage and suddenly drop to 7GB?

Hi,

Best regards.

I have my preview pane on the left. when I open an email the pane disappears and I have to "x" to get the pane to come back. It is making it very annoying to keep having to reset the preview pane.
Hi:

My contact in formation to recover my pass word is typed wrong .. so they send the e mail not to the right account looks like this  @hoitmail.com but
 should read like this @hotmail.com?
A year or so my hotmail account got hacked.  I was eventually able to get back in, but the email they have is not mine, and I assume its that of the hacker, and I don't know how to change it so that the backup email is one that actually belongs to me!??!  Help, until this gets fixed, I assume that whoever's email this is could change my password and lock me out...
I have added two accounts to outlook.com but my old emails are not showing up in the inbox.
There are subfolders I want to get rid of.The email service just did that.
