I had several groups set up in my Hotmail contact list. They have all disappeared. Can I get them back?
Trying to make my outlook as my default program using windows 7, when looking for windows outlook on the default set list , it isn't there.
I noticed that after Hotmail transitioned to Outlook, i had some emails that I had for years, disappear from my inbox. I assumed it was because I was on a mobile device. Checked from my laptop and those emails are now gone. I can’t even find them in the deleted box and I see that my inbox emails continue to be deleted automatically. How can I recover these emails I had for years and how do I stop newer emails from being automatically deleted. I don’t have any rules nor scheduled clean up. Help!
I can log on to Outlook but cannot open my emails. The screen freezes.
I have tried going into the "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\SkyDrive\settings" folder and deleting the downloads.txt. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried restarting. I ahve closed and reopened skydrive. I have logged onto
the web-app, and renamed folders. I have repeated the above. I have tried different combinations of the above.
My problem: I did a lot of work the past several weeks on my work computer. I am now on my home computer, and I can't get skydrive to downoad these files! They show up in the web app, but I can't get them to download. Skydrive just perpetually states
that it is "processing changes."
Info from Task Manager: 0% CPU, 0.1 MB/s disc, 0Mbps network, 24.5 MB memory.

I have removed the ask toolbar from IE and Firefox and run the following programs:
Kaspersky TDSSKiller
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
HitmanPro
AdwCleaner
Junkware Removal Tool
ESET Online Scanner
and I still have the same problem after all this. Any help would be appreciated

I used Emoze client on Android for my hotmail account. I got a message from Microsoft account team asking me to log in to my account to verify. The link opened in my hotmail inbox without credentials, and I got in my mailbox with no validation information at all.

suddenly I don't see the calendar entries of the next 5 weeks any more via web access to Live calendar (https://bay04.calendar.live.com/calendar/calendar.aspx).
At least all entries between 07-oct-2013 and 10-nov-2013 are gone, and even recurring weekly entries are not visible any more (and maybe also others?).
I'm not using a local Outlook installation, instead mainly the web access, and only sometimes mobile access / sync via Palm Pre smartphone (Live calendar configured there as a hotmail account).
On the smartphone the entries are still visible, but I cannot sync them with Live calendar (i.e. they don't appear again on the web page), and I cannot add new entries via the smartphone (i.e. they don't appear on the web page).
I discovered the problem today (after I had to restart my browser after a crash), but it might already be this way for a few days.
I already tried another browser, and there is the same problem too.
Is there a way to recover the missing entries ???

all of my emails prior to a week ago have been deleted.A message at the bottom of the screen says "another program is deleting your messages.."I just signed onto outlook, and never had a problem before.How do I retrieve all those messages??? They're not
in my deleted file.
